Start by going forward. When a rhino appears, watch out for its charges. They deal major damage, but you have stronger attacks as a mammoth. Therefore, when you see that the rhino charges at you, you can either back away or charge yourself (charge must be active or you'll receive damage). Next, follow the ghost.
Then, you will be attacked by several animals. Get rid of two that materialized near the ice. Keep moving and dodge the charges because if you get hit, you won't be able to move for a moment. Finish the enemies with the charge and the other attack. If you got rid of the first two rhinos, the task will be easier. After you kill them all, continue your journey.
You will fight more rhinos further on your way. Watch out for their charges, especially when they run in a single fight. Hide behind rocks and attack when they stop. Alternatively, you can use the rocks on both sides of the path (push them down). You will need to watch out for three rocks thrown by the rhino ghost. Remember to charge and avoid the rhinos. Do not use the charge when a rhino is too close to the edge, since you might fall down.
You will have to fight the rhinos once more. Remember about the strategies you have already used and watch out for geysers (standing on one when it shoots water will hurt you). Move in circles and sometimes charge towards the center to kill a rhino.
After you manage to defeat all the animals, the time will come for the rhino ghost. When it's visible, keep attacking so that it can't charge - come close and stay on such a distance while continuously attacking. You will deal more damage without receiving too much. The rhino will "disappear" at least once more. In that case, run around the area, avoiding the cloud that symbolizes the ghost. When it appears again, charge and use other attacks to finally kill the animal.
