Upgrading the village | Basics Far Cry Primal Guide

The Wenja Village is a place worth upgrading and increasing its population. Main characters will join you as you progress in the main story. They will give you new objectives; when you upgrade their huts, they will unlock new upgrades and skills. Upgrading the huts require resources and a specific population.

Freeing the captured Wenja is a simple way to increase the population.

The second requirement can be met easily by igniting bonfires, freeing the Wenja (random events), completing sidequests and taking over outposts. When the population reaches 70 people, you will start receiving more experience for performing all of the mentioned activities.

To sum up, it's a good idea to acquire some villagers as soon as possible.

You can buy upgrades at the stone tablet, near every hut.
