The Sleeping Saints | Main Quests Far Cry 4 Guide

You will receive this mission from Amita. Go to the place marked on your map and use the grappling hook to get on the top of this area. You will see the stairs ahead of you. After a moment you will see an explosion which will destroy the first statue. Your task is to not allow the next explosion to happen.
Get to the detonator
You have to keep being hidden for as long as you can. You need to take the position in front of you. From this place a sniper observes the entire area. The best way to get there is to take the path on the right of the small stairs next to which you will appear after you will finish climbing up. There is a lot of enemies around here although you can easily eliminate them quietly if you will use a bow. You may also use the bait to distract other enemies. After you will clean the entire lower level you will see on the right side few rocks and ropes on which you can climb up.
When you will pass the statue you will initiate the alarm and you will have 5 minutes to get to the detonator. First you have to shoot down the group of enemies underneath and then eliminate the sniper (you may need some grenades to accomplish that). After you will clean the area you will be able to deactivate the detonator.
If you will begin shooting earlier you will initiate the countdown when you will be detected. It's not really worth it since there is a lot of enemies here and if a lot of people will attack Ajay he may easily die. An additional impediment is the presence of sniper. You may be unable to kill all of the enemies methodically. If you will be detected anyway you need to run up the stairs ahead and try to dodge the sniper's firing. When you will get to the top start eliminating your enemies.
Defend the second statue
You next task is to protect the other statue. Prepare your weapons fast and pick fill ammo using the boxes on a small balcony (where you have deactivated the transmitter). The best thing to do is to stay on this position since your enemies will have a long path before they will get close to you. It allows you to easily kill them, especially when they will climb up on the rocks. Beware of the enemies with the melee weapons and these who have shotguns since they can easily defeat you.
When you will defeat all of your enemies you still need to destroy the helicopter. Keep being hidden and take the rocket launcher on the left of the damaged detonator. You only need to hit him once. The best way to do so is to shoot when he approaches to you. In such situation for a short moment he flies in a straight line and you will have no problem hitting him.
Light the hearths (Sabal's version)
After you fight the opponents back, you still need to light the hearth on the palms of one of the surviving statues. Stand in front of the statue and locate the spot, on which to use the hook, on the right. Then, jump over to the platform and light the first hearth. Then, you only need to climb up the ladder and walk over to the next hearth (if you run up properly, you will not have to use the hook). You only need to watch out for the sniper below, he will be firing at you - it is a good idea to eliminate him beforehand. Lighting the second hearth ends this mission.
Block the path to the Sleeping Saints (Amita's version)
Your last task is to initiate the collapse of the path which leads to the statues. Go to the place marked on your map and look around when you will be in the narrow passage. You will see below you over a dozen of enemies. Before you will go further eliminate the two snipers since they may easily shoot you down on an open field. After that use the grappling hook to get higher and destroy the highlighted escarpment with a rocket launcher, grenade launcher or grenades. Blocking the path finishes this mission.
