Casualties of War in Whitetail Mountains Far Cry 5 Guide and Walkthrough
The second Whitetail Mountains liberating mission in Far Cry 5.

Casualties of War is the second and the last mission that allows you to liberate Whitetail Mountains. This mission starts automatically after the death of Jacob Seed. The main objective is to infiltrate Jacob's bunker and to rescue Deputy Pratt.
Enter Jacobs bunker
Go to Jacob's Armory where you will find his bunker (use fast travel and choose, e.g. the nearby dam if you already have it unlocked). Prepare yourself to face a few cultists near the bunker. The sniper located on the balcony above the bunker's entrance is the biggest threat. However, you can approach the bunker from a few different angles which means that it is easy to surprise foes. Find the gate that leads to the bunker and use Jacob's key.
Important note - The bunker must be explored alone so equip your character with a shotgun, and either an assault rifle or a machine gun. You should also have a full supply of med kits, grenades, dynamites etc.
Find Deputy Pratt
You have to go through the bunker and keep eliminating all encountered cultists. Many of them can be attacked by surprise but regular firefights are also possible (look for turret stations). Be careful while you are fighting with heavily armored cultists. Use heavier weapons and avoid their shots.
Your first destination is the control room - you can go there by reaching the bunker's lower floors. Press the button to go to the place where Deputy Pratt is kept. Open the door to his room to rescue the man.
Leave the bunker
You now have to escape from the bunker. Go through the same rooms again but be careful - you will come across new cultists. You don't have to hurry because there is no time limit - however, you easily can get surrounded if you make a mistake.
Reach the surface, move away from the bunker and watch the explosion.
Note - Despite controlling Whitetail Mountains you can still fight with cultists and do other missions (story and side quests).
Rewards for completing this mission: Additional money received after performing certain activities in Whitetail Mountains region (completing missions etc.), Saving Deputy Pratt trophy, $3,000.
