This page of the trophy guide for Far Cry 6 explains how to unlock the Car Cry trophy. Your objective is obtaining all four Rides, unique vehicles that can be modified.
- Basic information
- Ride 1 - Juan's 1956 Beaumont Valentina
- Ride 2 - 1985 Tokai Sabuku
- Ride 3 - Yami's 2008 KAG TG
- Ride 4 - 1962 Verrazzano Bravo
Rides differ from the regular vehicles that can be added to your "collection" by delivering them to drop-off points. The most important difference is that Rides can be modified. The modifications may include:
- offensive and defensive weapons,
- front and rear armor;
- decorations and elements modifying the Ride's appearance.
You can also summon Rides at will by selecting them in a menu. To get the achievement you need to unlock all four rides. We've described how to obtain the rides below.
Ride 1 - Juan's 1956 Beaumont Valentina
You can't miss this ride, as you get it automatically during the Fuel the Revolution operation, which is a mandatory quest during the long intro to the campaign on the Isla Santuario. This vehicle is bundled with a repair kit and immediately becomes your default ride.
Ride 2 - 1985 Tokai Sabuku
You can unlock this ride by exploring the game world. It awaits you in the FND Storage Facility we've shown on the attached picture - you'll find it in the El Este region, near Catalina Ridge. You can go there at any point of the campaign (after leaving Isla Santuario), as obtaining this ride doesn't involve combat.
Once you arrive, you'll notice that the main entrance to the facility is locked. Head to the back of the building and walk along the excavator shown on the picture, then jump through the hole in the warehouse's wall.
As you make your way through the warehouse, you must navigate a maze of sorts. When bumping into small containers, use your firearms to destroy them.
Your objective is the parked vehicle. Get inside and drive out of the storage facility. After a moment you'll be notified about unlocking a new ride.
Ride 3 - Yami's 2008 KAG TG
This ride can also be unlocked via optional activities. In this case, you must beat the Backseat Driver Yaran Story. It's a side quest found in the Madrugada region you can learn about when travelling through the area. You must visit Yami's Chop Shop and accept the quest from Yami.
The quest involves destroying hostile vehicles on the FND Tank Training Grounds. The best way to do so is using your own ride and gunning enemies down without leaving the vehicle.
Once you've cleared the area, enter the garage in the training grounds. You'll find the ride there, and Yami will gift it to you.
Ride 4 - 1962 Verrazzano Bravo
To obtain this ride, you must win any Gran Premio race. As you progress through the campaign, you'll encounter posters which lead you to where the races happen. Each race requires you to pass through checkpoints while on a time limit, placing you behind the wheel of many different vehicles.
Finish any of the races - if you're having trouble, just look for a different one.
