This page of the Far Cry 6 game guide contains information about Juan's Weapons, Juan's Arms Dealers and other traders in the game world. You will learn what currencies can be used to purchase goods from traders and how to add new, higher quality items to the merchants' stock.
Juan's Weapons is a unique store in the game world where you can buy:
- Supremos - these are backpacks that grant you various types of special attacks (e.g. rocket fire or EMP pulse),
- Resolver Weapons - These are high quality unique weapons, such as the flamethrower or crossbow.
You will be able to purchase from Juan's store for the first time after completing the campaign introduction and arriving at Libertad Island. The Yaran story (side quest) titled Supremacy will be initiated and it will remain in your logbook until you purchase all the unique items stocked by Juan.
Note - Not all items are immediately visible in Juan's stock. More will appear in his store later in the campaign.
Juan's store is very unusual in that you have to pay with depleted uranium for the items he sells. This is a rare resource that you can find in large chests in select enemy bases (e.g. in those with anti-aircraft guns). Study all visited enemy locations carefully - uranium is marked with a special yellow icon on the radar.
Juan's Arms Dealers
Juan's Arms Dealers are the most common variety of traders in the game world. You can buy new weapons and clothing items from them.
It's important to note that the traders' stock is initially modest and includes low-quality items. If you want to be able to buy better things, you have to level up your character to a higher rank. Each time you reach a next experience level, the traders' stock will be expanded. For more information about leveling up your character, check out the Ranks and XP - how to level up? page.
Traders in guerrilla hideouts
The last category of traders are the unique merchants who can appear in the main guerrilla hideouts. It's important to order the following at the Building Desk:
- Guerrilla Garrison - it will allow you to buy new weapons.
- Bandidos Barracks - these will allow you to buy new items of clothing.
Spending resources on building garrisons and barracks will give you the ability to buy equipment, but just like with arms dealers, these will initially be low-ranking items. If you want to be able to buy better things, you have to pay to upgrade both of these buildings to a higher level. Try to eventually rank up the garrison and barracks to the maximum level 3.
