This page contains information on how long it takes to beat Far Cry 6. We explain how long the game's main storyline is and how many additional hours you can spend completing optional content and in search of secrets and collectibles.
- Completing the main storyline should take you about 15-20 hours. Several main storylines are available in Far Cry 6 and each includes a sizable amount of mandatory quests. Additionally, some main story quests take place in high-ranking regions, so it's recommended to adequately level up your character beforehand.
- Side quests can extend the game by a few to several hours. These range from very elaborate optional missions to less complex and shorter tasks.
- In Far Cry 6, there are plenty of secrets to discover. You will probably spend at least a dozen hours searching for them. The most difficult are the treasure hunts, which may require solving some larger environmental puzzle in addition to discovering them. You may spend quite some time trying to figure out the solution to a particular puzzle.
- If you aim to reach 100% completion in Far Cry 6, you will need to spend 60 or more hours playing the game. This includes exploring 100% of the world map, discovering the main secrets and taking over all the enemy locations. Interestingly, the game's platinum trophy is slightly less problematic, as it doesn't force you to play through 100% of the available content and you can focus solely on the achievement-related stuff.
