One of the main elements of Fallout 76 is character development. With each promotion, you receive points of attributes to spend and the ability to choose new perks. A higher level of character also allows you to use more powerful items or Power Armor. It is, therefore, worthwhile to learn all the ways of gathering experience.
Killing enemies is the simplest and most natural way to gain experience. As you explore the game world, you will come across many enemies. The number of experience points is determined by the level of enemies - the higher the opponent's level, the more experience points you will gain. The range of points gained is wide - from a few to several dozen. These aren't tremendous amounts, but the number of enemies you meet makes up for it.
Exploration of the world of Fallout 76 is the basic element of the game. Therefore, the rewarding of this activity could not fail. Each time you discover a new location, you will receive several dozen experience points.
Performing tasks is a great way to develop your character. Not only can you get several hundred experience points for completing the quests, but you will often also receive useful items - weapons, ammunition or Stimpaks. You can get quests at almost every moment of the game - after reading the notes, using a computer or visiting a location.
Participating in Events
In the game, you will also find the second type of quests. These are randomly generated events that can be attended by nearby players. All you need to do is get close to the location of the event and you'll get a new mission - it's often about fighting several waves of enemies, so it's a good opportunity to collaborate with other players. As in the case of standard tasks, you will receive experience and various items for completing the event.
It is worth mentioning the production of new objects. Whether you cook soup, fry meat or create a new gun - you'll get a few experience points. This does not guarantee quick promotions of characters, but it is a useful bonus during crafting.
