General trophy information

1. F1 22 has 51 trophies in total - 1 platinum trophy (unlockable only on PS4 and PS5), 2 gold trophies, 10 silver trophies and 38 bronze trophies.
2. Many achievements are related to specific modes and gameplay elements, e.g. My Team mode or time trials. We included this information in their descriptions.
3. A large number of trophies are related to multiplayer modes. You need to participate in online races and leagues, as well as a career for two players. Playing alone all the time won't get you the platinum trophy. Multiplayer trophies do not require a lot of skill, but you need to spend a lot of time on them. Plus some achievements require a gaming partner.
4. The trophies do not require you to play on specific difficulty levels. This means that many of them can be obtained easier by, e.g. lowering the skills of AI opponents or by adding more assists to control the car with greater ease.

Completionist

How to unlock: Unlock all of the F1 22 trophies.

Trophy type: platinum

Comment: Platinum trophy in F1 22 is available only on PS4 and PS5 consoles.

Always Improving

How to unlock: Complete 250 successful overtakes in any game mode.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: This is an easy trophy but it is simply time-consuming. In most races, you should be able to overtake a few cars - they all add up.

Weekly Warrior

How to unlock: Participate in any Featured, Weekly or Esports Event.

Trophy type: bronze

This is an online trophy that requires you to be connected to the game's servers.

Comment: Select the Weekly Event available at the moment in the Multiplayer tab. You can do it with other players or alone - then you will be racing against bots. You don't even have to reach the finish line, because you can also crash on the way and end the race prematurely. This way you will get the achievement faster.

Spotlight On Me

How to unlock: Have your car be the focus during a Broadcast Safety Car.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: The trophy requires a change in the game options - in the Rules & Flags menu, you have to change the setting of the safety car to Broadcast. From now on, continue the game and you will receive the achievement when a broadcast safety car spots you.

Slotting In

How to unlock: Slot into the grid starting box 10 times.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: This achievement is described on a separate page of the trophy guide: Slotting In.

Ferrari Fan

How to unlock: Win a race at Monza with a Ferrari Engine in My Team.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is 1 out of 4 achievements related to the use of engines from different manufacturers in the My Team mode. You choose your first engine manufacturer when starting a new career, but it can also be changed later in the game.

The contract to supply Ferrari engines costs 4 million dollars by default. Qualify for the Italian GP this season and set the AI skill level low when needed to win without problems.

Red Bull Racer

How to unlock: Win a race at Austria with a Red Bull Engine in My Team.

Comment: This is 1 out of 4 achievements related to the use of engines from different manufacturers in the My Team mode. You choose your first engine manufacturer when starting a new career, but it can also be changed later in the game.

The contract to supply Red Bull engines costs 2 million 900 thousand dollars by default. Qualify for the Austrian GP this season and set the AI skill level low when needed to win without problems.

Renault Racer

How to unlock: Win a race at France with a Renault Engine in My Team.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is 1 out of 4 achievements related to the use of engines from different manufacturers in the My Team mode. You choose your first engine manufacturer when starting a new career, but it can also be changed later in the game.

The contract for the supply of Renault engines costs 2 million 300 thousand dollars by default. Qualify for the French GP this season and set the AI skill level low when needed to win without problems.

Mercedes Master

How to unlock: Win a race with a Mercedes Engine in My Team.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is 1 out of 4 achievements related to the use of engines from different manufacturers in the My Team mode. You choose your first engine manufacturer when starting a new career, but it can also be changed later in the game.

The contract for the supply of Mercedes engines costs 3 million 300 thousand dollars by default. You can get any victory. Unlike in the previous trophies, this one has no track requirements.

Classic Photographer

How to unlock: Take a photo using Photomode at Silverstone, Spa, Monza & Monaco.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This achievement is described on a separate page of the trophy guide: Classic Photographer.

Just Popping In

How to unlock: Visit another player's F1 Life area.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: Select the F1 Life mode in the main menu and then the last option from the list - F1 Life Visitors. Select any character from the list (AI or real player) and the Visit F1 Life option. You'll get the trophy right away.

Proud Owner

How to unlock: Display a trophy in your F1 Life trophy cabinet.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: You can unlock the achievement after winning any cup in any game mode (e.g. finishing GP on the podium). Go to the F1 Life mode window and select Trophies. Select any of the 15 slots and choose a cup from the list you want to put in the display case.

Feels Like Home

How to unlock: Change the appearance of your F1 Life area.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: In the F1 Life menu, select My Place. You can freely change the furnishings of the available space, e.g. choose different cabinets or a sofa.

Getting The Hang Of It

How to unlock: Drive 25 laps in a supercar in any game mode.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: You have to drive a total of 25 laps with the same supercar model. The game counts the distance traveled while completing the challenges, but the easiest way is to simply select Time Trials and Red Bull Ring (Austrian GP) or any of the shorter tracks. You don't have to drive flawlessly or beat the time records.

Gold All Around

How to unlock: Earn a gold medal in each type of Pirelli Hot Lap.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: Pirelli Hot Laps is another name for various types of tasks/trials involving supercars. We discussed them in more detail on the Supercars and challenges page.

You don't need to complete 100% of the available challenges to get the trophy. Simply get a gold medal in at least 1 challenge of each type. There are 6 types of challenges:

1. Average Speed Zone,
2. drift,
3. Rival Duel,
4. Checkpoint Challenge,
5. autocross,
6. Time Attack.

In addition, you can set the lowest (normal) difficulty level for challenges to lower their requirements.

Drifty

How to unlock: Drift for a total of 3 minutes in the Drift Pirelli Hot Lap.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: Drift Pirelli Hot Laps is another name for various types of tasks/trials involving supercars. We discussed them in more detail on the Supercars and challenges page.

Choose any drift competition from among several available. The game counts every (even the smallest) drift, so just focus on doing these challenges.

Lookin' Good

How to unlock: Change a piece of your Casual attire.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: In the F1 Life menu, select the Casual & Race Wear option. Make any changes to Casual clothing, e.g. by choosing a different hat, glasses or a T-shirt.

Lookin' Stylish

How to unlock: Change the Paint Finish on all layers of a livery.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: In the F1 Life menu, select the option to change the Player Car Liveries.

Choose any paint and start editing. On each of the layers (3 different in our example), you have to change the Paint Finish, e.g. to matte, as in the picture above. You will receive the trophy only after changing all available layers for a given paint, not just one.

Pit Perfection

How to unlock: Perform 25 perfect pitstops.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: This achievement is described on a separate page of the trophy guide: Pit Perfection.

Equipped With The Best

How to unlock: Upgrade Pit Crew Equipment to the max level in My Team.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: When playing a career in the My Team mode, in the Facilities tab, you need to develop Pit Equipment from the Personnel category - we have marked it in the picture. You will need to spend $6 million. Then, you have to wait for the work to finish (you will get the trophy automatically after you advance to the upgrade completion date).

Crisis Management

How to unlock: Complete 25 Department Events in My Team.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: Department Events occur at random times between sessions in the My Team career mode. You can make any decisions there, because the only thing that matters is that you unlock each of the 25 events.

Executive Decision

How to unlock: Agree to and complete an Ask The Driver Department Event.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the Department Events available in career modes. This particular type of event can trigger at a random point in your career (between races) and not necessarily during the first season of F1. You have to agree to participate in the event to be able to answer a series of questions.

Better Together

How to unlock: Complete your first race weekend in Two Player Career.

Trophy type: bronze

This is an online trophy that requires you to be connected to the game's servers.

Comment: The career type is selected in the Career tab. The racing weekend in the trophy description is training and qualifications (can be skipped) as well as the race.

Fighting For 1st

How to unlock: Earn 1st and 2nd place in a single race as players in Two Player Career.

Trophy type: silver

This is an online trophy that requires you to be connected to the game's servers.

Comment: It is best to lower the skill level of drivers controlled by artificial intelligence as much as possible. This will make it easier to overtake them and stay ahead of everyone.

All Around The World

How to unlock: Complete a clean lap at all tracks in Time Trial.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: Select the Time Trial mode from the main menu. A lap may be canceled if you take all wheels off the track or cut a turn too much. The game will then display an appropriate message. Drive slower and safer just to obtain (any) clear time. You have to do this on all 22 tracks in the calendar.

Speed Demon

How to unlock: Reach 300kph/186.4mph at 10 different tracks.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: You should get this achievement automatically when completing a career or time trials. You can easily accelerate to the required speed on almost any track in the calendar. You have to do this on 10 out of 22 tracks.

Pure Power

How to unlock: Achieve first in the speed trap in 5 practice sessions.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: Speed is measured at the end of one of the straight sections on the track and the information is displayed on the right edge of the screen (picture above).

You should easily win the trophy by playing race weekends with a good car and/or with weak competitors, and intentionally maintaining high speed until the end of the straight section. You can also increase your chances by modifying the settings of the car in the pitstop - increase the maximum speed at the cost of less pressure (picture above).

Back Online

How to unlock: Re-open a facility that has been shutdown for more than 7 days in My Team.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: In the My Team career mode, in the Facilities tab, you can find the Shutdown Facility button that stops it from generating costs. Choose it, confirm your decision, advance in the calendar by one week (preferably between races) and have it reopened (choose the facility and the option to resume activities).

You Know My Name

How to unlock: Reach a Team Acclaim level of 20 in My Team mode.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: In My Team mode, the Acclaim accumulated by both drivers also increases the Team Acclaim. Try to make your team achieve good results in races to gain Acclaim (experience) faster.

All Rounder

How to unlock: Develop a component in every R&D Department.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to researching car improvement - you can do it during your career. You will get the achievement faster by choosing any project from each department to develop one by one (instead of specializing in subsequent ones from the same department).

Get It Done

How to unlock: Complete a practice session using Quick Practice.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: When playing career training sessions, you can choose between Go to Track and Quick Practice. Select this option and any of training programs. You don't have to be successful, because you will always get the achievement at the end of the first quick practice session.

On Top

How to unlock: Achieve pole position after any qualifying session.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: It can be any race. If you have trouble, lower the skill level of the AI drivers.

A Good Day

How to unlock: Get on the podium.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: It can be any race. If you have trouble, lower the skill level of the AI drivers.

A Great Day

How to unlock: Win your first race.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: It can be any race. If you have trouble, lower the skill level of the AI drivers.

Ultimate Prize

How to unlock: Win the F1 Drivers' Championship.

Trophy type: gold

Comment: A great help in getting this trophy is the fact that you can choose any difficulty level and assists. Lowering the skills of AI drivers will allow you to win frequently and accumulate points for the classification (drivers and constructors).

Makes the Dreams Work

How to unlock: Win the F1 Constructors' Championship.

Trophy type: gold

Comment: A great help in getting this trophy is the fact that you can choose any difficulty level and assists. Lowering the skills of AI drivers will allow you to win frequently and accumulate points for the classification (drivers and constructors).

I Want It All

How to unlock: Set the fastest time in all 3 practice sessions, take pole position and win the Grand Prix.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: It can be any racing weekend. If you have trouble, lower the skill level of the AI drivers. Just make sure you don't miss any session, so take part in all five (3 practice sessions, 1 qualifying session, 1 race).

Beating Them All

How to unlock: Finish 1st in a Ranked & Unranked multiplayer race.

Trophy type: silver

This is an online trophy that requires you to be connected to the game's servers.

Comment: Ranked and unranked races are counted separately. You must win at least one from each category.

The Start

How to unlock: Finish 10 races in online multiplayer.

Trophy type: bronze

This is an online trophy that requires you to be connected to the game's servers.

Comment: You can finish online races on any position in the classification.

The Grind

How to unlock: Finish 50 races in online multiplayer.

Trophy type: bronze

This is an online trophy that requires you to be connected to the game's servers.

Comment: You can finish online races on any position in the classification.

The Veteran

How to unlock: Finish 100 races in online multiplayer.

Trophy type: bronze

This is an online trophy that requires you to be connected to the game's servers.

Comment: You can finish online races on any position in the classification.

Racing Clique

How to unlock: Complete a League race.

Trophy type: bronze

This is an online trophy that requires you to be connected to the game's servers.

Comment: This achievement is much easier to get by playing with friends, but you can also search for leagues of other players. Choose the Join League option. This step alone is not enough, because you have to complete at least 1 race organized by a given league. Your result is not important.

Watchful Eye

How to unlock: Spectate an online race.

Trophy type: bronze

This is an online trophy that requires you to be connected to the game's servers.

Comment: In the multiplayer tab, use the session search engine and join any of them. Do not join the race, just select the Spectate option - we have marked it in the picture above. You can watch any car. The trophy will be unlocked only after the multiplayer race is finished, not immediately after entering the spectate mode.

Replay That!

How to unlock: Save a captured highlight in Theatre Mode.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: The game automatically saves Highlights from the last few races. In the game's main menu, select F1 Life and then Theater. Find the Recent Highlights, highlight any of them and press the Save button - Triangle/Y on the pad.

F2 Flyer

How to unlock: Complete an F2 Grand Prix with a Sprint and Feature Race at 25% or greater race distance.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: Select a single race in the main menu and F2 2021 as a type of cars, i.e. Formula 2 cars from the 2021 season. It is very important to make the right settings for the Weekend Structure:

1. in the Race Format field, select Sprint & Feature
2. in the Session Length field, select at least Medium, which is 25% of the actual race distance.

Play a sprint and the main race. It doesn't matter whether you win the race or not.

It Only Goes Skin Deep

How to unlock: Win a 25% race in wet conditions.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: In the main menu, select a single race and configure it in the settings:

1. in the Weather and Time of Day window, select Wet;
2. in the Weekend Structure window, select at least the Medium length of the race, i.e. 25% of the distance.

You can also lower opponent's AI level to make it easier for you to take the lead and keep it.

Tunnel Vision

How to unlock: Successfully complete 15 upgrades in a single R&D department.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to researching car improvement - you can do it during your career. When selecting new projects, make sure that they come from the same category (e.g. Aerodynamics). This will help you to get the achievement faster.

Each of the R&D departments has more than 20 improvements, but you have to keep in mind that further improvements from the research trees may require advancement of a given department or spending more development points.

Supercar Superstar

How to unlock: Fill all 6 bays in F1 Life with unlocked supercars.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: To unlock supercars, you need tokens which you can easily obtain by driving a certain distance with F1, F2 cars and already owned supercars. You can get tokens even when you are early in the game. You can buy cars in F1 Life section - you must purchase any 6 vehicles.

The acquired supercars must also be put on display in 6 Bays of your place of residence. They can be any machines. The only thing that matters is that no bay remains empty.

Boosted

How to unlock: Boost your 2nd driver's stats 10 times using Team Activities.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This trophy is related to the My Team career. From time to time, you will get Department Events and some of them are about increasing the statistics of the co-driver (example in the picture). Simply select any statistic you want to increase.

Annihilation

How to unlock: While in 1st place, lap the driver in 2nd place in any game mode.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: Reduce the skill level of the AI drivers to the lowest. Choose a short track (e.g. Red Bull Ring in Austria) with a large number of laps and you should be able to easily double the driver from second place.

Scorcher

How to unlock: Complete a race at F1's hottest tracks (Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Brazil) in Clear weather.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: In the main menu, select single races on tracks from Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Singapore and Brazil. Before starting each one, go to the Weather and Time of Day window and select Dry. Races can be of any length and you can finish them on any position.
