Chapter 5 - Main missions in Extinction Extinction Guide & Walkthrough

In this section you will find all the information about the main and secondary objectives in the fifth chapter of Extinction. This chapter is divided into 5 missions in which, apart from 5 main tasks, you can win 7 medals for secondary tasks. All missions are described in their respective sections.

Diversion

Main Objectives

1. Save 25 citizens.

Secondary Objectives (Randomized)

1. Overcome the appropriate number of Jackals.
2. Destroy an adequate number of armoring elements.
3. Defend the city.
4. Don't die.
5. Time trial.
6. Defeat a specific number of Ravenii.
7. Defeat Ravenii in a specific manner (e.g. legless execution, standing execution).

Our main task is to rescue the inhabitants. You can do this very quickly because the tags are located close to each other. If the secondary objective is to defeat a specific number of Ravenii or kill Jackals, try to save as many people as you can to complete the task with only one teleport. For example, you save 15 inhabitants, then you kill 20 Jackals and at the last crystal only one character is required.

Long Live the King

Main Objectives

1. Defend the guard towers for 6 minutes.

Secondary Objectives (Randomized)

1. Defeat a proper number of Jackals.
2. Destroy the proper amount of armoring elements.
3. Time trial.
4. Don't die.
5. Defeat a specific number of Ravenii.
6. Defeat Ravenii in a specific manner (e.g. legless execution, standing execution).

In this mission, your main task is to protect guard towers from Ravenii's attack. Once you're in the game, take care of getting the appropriate level of "kill strike", e.g. by saving the residents, in order to defeat the first Ravenii as soon as possible. At intervals - before your next opponent arrives, load up the kill strike skill level by saving civilians or killing Jackals.

If the secondary objective is not related with killing the Ravenii, you can try to keep them away from the city. However, it must happen when two colossi will appear in close proximity to each other. Then destroy the armors on their legs and cut them off alternately. Disabled colossuses have no chance of reaching the city. But keep in mind that this is only possible when Ravenii appear side by side.

Vengeance

Main Objectives

1. Kill 6 Ravenii.

Secondary Objectives (Randomized)

1. Defeat the proper number of Jackals.
2. Destroy an adequate number of armoring elements.
3. Defend the city.
4. Don't die.
5. Time trial.
6. Save citizens.
7. Defeat Ravenii in a specific manner (e.g. legless execution, standing execution).

After the start of the mission, the first Ravenii appears almost immediately. On your way towards the enemy you should save civilians in order to increase the level of "kill strike". It is worth to make sure that after reaching another Ravenii the power level of your kill strike skill is high enough to execute the enemy - after destroying two armourings and cutting off one limb.

To complete Main Objectives you must kill 6 Ravenii and protect the city from any damage. There will be a maximum of two Ravenii in the area at the same time.

Sentinels Oath

Main Objectives

1. Kill 4 Ravenii.

Secondary Objectives (Randomized)

1. Defeat a proper number of Jackals.
2. Destroy the proper amount of armoring elements.
3. Time trial.
4. Don't die.
5. Save citizens.
6. Defeat Ravenii in a specific manner (e.g. legless execution, standing execution).

After the beginning of the mission, it takes several seconds for the first Ravenni to appear. Let's use this time to raise the power level of "kill strike", save residents, or execute secondary objective like killing the Jackals.

To complete Main Objectives you must kill 4 Ravens and protect the city from destruction. There is only one opponent of this type on this level at the same time.

Ties That Bind

Main Objectives

1. Save 20 citizens.
2. Defeat a Ravenii who wears Thorn Armor.

Secondary Objectives

1. Destroy 7 elements of Ravenii's armor.
2. Save 35 citizens.
3. Finish this mission with city preserved at 60%.

Main Objectives consists of two parts. At the beginning you have to save at least 20 inhabitants of the city. Be careful, because there are a lot of minor opponents of all kinds near the teleports.

This part of the mission should be carried out quite quickly, as there are large teleports, which gather and summon more characters in the area. The Ravenii, who has a Thorn Armor won't appear until 20 civilians have been rescued. In order to perform an additional objective related to the residents, destroy the armor on the legs of the colossus and cut off its legs.

The time received can be used to save the rest of the population. After the destruction of 7 elements of the armor, carry out the execution and finish the mission successfully.
