Chapter 15 - The End of This World | Walkthrough Guide The Evil Within 2

Chapter 15 begins right after the fight with the three enemies from the first installment of the game. Union is ruin after Myra has destroyed the city.

You can find several items inside the building.

After you regain control over your character, turn around and approach the large door. The entire city has been demolished and lies in ruin. Continue downwards and ignore petrified enemies - they do not pose any threat. After a while, you are bound to reach a building - collect all the items and continue your march to initiate a cutscene.

A new type of enemy is going to appear in the area.

Collect the remaining items and go downwards, where you can find a mirror - use it if you have to. On your way down, you can pick up several more items. Finally, you get to the solid ground, which initiates a cutscene. After it, new enemies are going appear. You have to kill them in order to deactivate the barrier created by Myra. These enemies are not much different from the regular cannon fodder you had to fight so far, thus, they do not pose any significant threat.

A good idea to deal with these enemies is to use Explosive Bolts.

Defeat all three of them and pick up the items (also the ones you can find inside the building on your left) and continue chasing Myra to set off another cutscene and engage in a fight with more enemies. Kill them, collect the items, drop down to the lower level, where you have to face a mini-boss.

The lantern-monster looks dangerous, however, at this stage, it does not pose any significant threat.

Myra is going to create a monster which "unites" with the lantern. This opponent is not very demanding, provided you keep moving to avoid his attacks. In order to hurt it, you have to use the oil stains (there are a lot of those here) or the Explosive Bolts. If you are well equipped with the Explosive Bolts, this fight is going to be really short - 3-4 precise hits will kill the enemy. After you defeat it, collect all the items (and destroy the crates around) and jump down to start another cutscene and end this short Chapter.
