Chapter 1 - Into the Flame | Walkthrough Guide The Evil Within 2

In this chapter you will find a walkthrough for the first chapter in the game. You won't encounter any enemies and you won't find any items in this chapter.

Go back to the nightmare world in order to save your daughter

Objects you can interact with are marked with a white circle.

After a series of cutscenes you will gain control of your character. Your first objective is to reach a burning building. Don't worry - during the first chapter there are no collectibles to collect, so you don't need to look around thoroughly. Enter the building and then enter the kitchen. Turn left from there and open the marked door.

You must walk under the burning beam.

Now go upstairs. Ignore the damaged door and go towards the collapsed barrier. You must walk under it - information how to crouch will display on the screen. Now enter the room behind the turn in order to activate a long series of cutscenes.

Picking up the phone will end this short chapter.

Once you regain control, go straight ahead. From time to time you must rotate the camera to discover a new object and then walk towards it. After a short march you will reach a desk with a phone. Interacting with it will take you to the office and end this very short chapter.
