On this page of the guide to EVE Online, we provide a list of ships of all factions that are recommended for novice players, as well as their basic configurations (fits).

After beating the tutorial of EVE Online and completing all the mission chains offered by various Career Agents, you should own a few extra ships, as well as collect a large amount of ISK, which you will be able to spend on their armament. Below is a list of basic fits for each faction.

New ships in EVE Online can be bought on the Market. Just type the name of the ship in the search box and filter the results by price, setting them by ascending. Learn more about EVE Online's market on the page: Market.

Amarr

Below is a list of recommended Amarr ships, along with a brief description and fit.

Tormentor

Heavy battleship with a good defense that deals bonus damage with Energy Turrets. This is a very versatile ship, which is great for beginners.

Executioner

Executioner is a fast combat ship designed to fight agile frigates. However, it gets easily damaged.

Punisher is an armored and very tough battleship with very high firepower. Its biggest drawback, however, is its slow speed.

Exploration frigate with bonuses for scanning probes and Relic/Data analyzers. Unfortunately, this ship is vulnerable to damage and not suitable for direct combat. If you are attacked, your best option is to escape.

  2. Data Analyzer I;

Venture

A typical mining frigate, which can be used by representatives of all four factions. Venture is characterized by a very large bonus for mining lasers and gas collection, as well as a huge cargo for ore (5,000 m3). The ship is not suitable for combat, so when you get attacked, your only choice is to start running.

Sigil

An armored industrial ship, excellent for a transporter. However, it is slow and not suitable for combat. It is a good choice only for those who want to work as a hauler and can count on support when they are attacked.

Caldari

Below is a list of recommended Caldari ships, along with a brief description and fit.

Condor

Fast and very agile combat ship equipped with missile launchers (requires skills Missile Launcher Operation Level II and Light Missiles Level I), which is great for a hit and run tactic. Condor has limited cargo space, so it is not suitable for transporting goods.

Atron

Atron is an attack frigate of the Gallente faction and is characterized by exceptional speed, agility, as well as great firepower. However, this vessel is relatively fragile and not suitable for carrying goods.

Tristan

An agile, small, versatile, and extremely good frigate, capable of sending up to 5 light drones at a time. Its biggest flaw is a pretty weak defense. Due to the fact that this unmanned ship relies on drones, you will have to learn Drones Level III and Light Drone Operation Level I skills.

  3. Drone Damage Amplifier I;

Imicus

A typical exploration vessel with bonuses for scanning probes and Relic/Data analyzers. Imicus is vulnerable to damage and not suitable for direct combat. If you are attacked, your best option is to escape.

Slasher

A cheap and versatile ship, characterized by high speed and agility, as well as a decent armament, but it is quite vulnerable to damage. Slasher is a popular choice among novice pirates.
