The unofficial guide to Elex offers a number of useful information, enabling you to familiarize yourself with the essential in-game mechanisms and mechanics, as well as learn more about the game's vast open world. The initial pages of the guide feature a collection of various advice, ranging from combat, exploration, meetings with NPCs, crafting and customizing items, stealing and hacking, completing quests, regaining health, or recruiting companions, to choosing the difficulty level. A lot of space in our guide has been dedicated to a chapter about character leveling. It offers information about attributes and skills, and includes tips and hints on the best character development paths.
The factions are an essential element to the game, and there wouldn't be a guide without them. Each of the three factions - the Berserkers, the Outlaws, and the Clerics - has been described in detail. The guide will inform you about their specializations and how you can join them. The next big section is the FAQ. The most important topics include: amassing experience easily, getting rich quickly, the best order in which to visit cities, the reasons and rules for using teleporters, and avoiding a miserable death right off the bat.
A large portion of the guide is dedicated to the world atlas. The chapter begins with a high-quality world map, divided into smaller sectors, correspondent to each of the realms (Edan, Tavar, Abessa, Ignadon, Xakor). Each realm has a dedicated map, which depicts the location of teleporters, vendors, and skill trainers, among others. The Summaries chapter of our guide offers e.g. information on the localization of legendary weapons or elex flasks. The guide is concluded with a guide to achievements, including a complete list of trophies along with detailed descriptions on how to unlock them.
Elex is a vast RPG game from Piranha Bytes, a developer team famous for the subsequent installments of the Gothic series. Their latest work shares many similarities with Gothic, but also many completely new elements. The biggest difference is brought with the game world. We are transported to the planet Magalan, which suffers from aftereffects of a meteor impact. In the planet's new, post-apocalyptic environment magic coexists with hyper-advanced technology, and elex, the mysterious new element brought to this world by the asteroid offers new, unheard of possibilities. The game offers vast freedom of choice when it comes to character development, or joining one of the three vastly different in-game factions. Each of them provides different quests and different means of dealing with them.
