This page of the Elex 2 game guide contains a walkthrough of the On the Road to Becoming a Warrior mission. This is the first task of the Berserkers - you will receive it from the Rat after joining the faction. The mission's aim is to advance to a higher rank. To achieve this, you need to get Tilas and Thorhild's consent.

Talking to Tilas and Thorhild
To start off the mission, the Rat will direct you to Tilas and Thorhild - you've already met them in previous Fort missions. It doesn't matter which character you talk to first. You can also complete Tilas and Thorhild's tasks at the same time.
Tilas' task - carrying a letter to Fenris
Tilas's first order will be to deliver the letter to Fenris. He can be found near the entrance to the upper part of the Fort. After delivering the letter, go back to Tilas. It will turn out that Tilas has fainted and you have to get the ingredients for the medicine. The healing potion can be prepared by Marwin or Sid - depending on the choice you've made in the Tilas' Apprentice mission.
Tilas' task - obtaining the medicine ingredients
The 5 Troll Roots are difficult to obtain ingredients. The area where the plants can be found will be marked on your map. However, you will encounter high-level trolls there - if you are unable to defeat them, try to quickly collect the plants and run away.
The next portion of the medicine's ingredients is much easier to get, since they're two types of flowers and garlic. You can buy all these items from a nearby alchemist. Return with all the ingredients to Tilas' apprentice and wait one day. Afterwards, return to Tilas' house.
Tilas' task - drinking the potion
The rescued Tilas will agree to recommend Jax on the condition that he drinks his experimental potion. Agree and go back to the alchemist after one day. You will receive a potion that permanently boosts all character attributes by one point. The potion has no side effects, so you can ingest it without fear. After drinking the potion, talk to Tilas again to be approved for promotion.
Thorhild's task - meeting with Astrid
Thorhild will direct you to Astrid, who is nearby. Your goal is to collect some skins. When you arrive, you'll discover that Astrid is being attacked by a bandit - assist her in the fight. After defeating the opponent, talk to Astrid. You will learn that she was robbed by a group of bandits and she will give you the skins if you get her things back.
Thorhild's task - confronting Rocco
The location of your meeting place with the bandit leader Rocco will be marked on your map. Go there at night - only then will Rocco show up. After a short conversation, a fight will take place. You need to defeat Rocco as well as his three men - this fight cannot be avoided.
Thorhild's task - recovering Astrid's belongings
After the fight, you'll need to find Astrid's belongings. The sack is under one of the nearby birches. After recovering the items, go back to Astrid - this way you will get the skins. Go to Thorhild with the skins to get her approval for promotion.
Completing the quest
After completing tasks for Thorhild and Tilas, you can return to Rat. After your character reaches at least level 20, you will be able to advance to a higher rank. This way, you'll have completed the On the Road to Becoming a Warrior mission and additionally, you will get the next Berserker mission in Elex 2 - On the Road to Becoming a Paladin.
