This page of the Elex 2 game guide contains a walkthrough of the Ambitious Self-Experimentation quest. You will receive it from Falk after unlocking him as a companion. The quest involves helping the cyborg in experiments meant to investigate the depths of human nature and how people react in certain situations.
You have to wait about two days between each of Falk's experiments to unlock the next task. After waiting, head to Falk and ask if he's ready to proceed with the experiments. After each experiment, make sure to talk to Falk to hear his conclusions from the observation.

Delivering raw meat and talking to the characters
During the first experiment, Falk wants to study people's reactions to receiving gifts. To achieve this goal, he needs you to bring him 10 pieces of raw meat. Meat can be easily obtained from low-level monsters or purchased from merchants.
After delivering the meat, bring Falk to the following characters in the Bastion: Fox, Rolf, Kaja, Balder, the CRONY U4 drone, and Thialg. Simply approach the characters while Falk is tagging along and start a conversation. The cyborg will join in the conversation and gift them the meat. The experiment will conclude after talking to all of the characters.
Hunting for monsters
During the second experiment, you have to kill 5 Wetlurkers. You will be teleported to their location and Falk will help you in combat.
Meeting with Rolf and Balder
In the third experiment, Falk will ask you to go with him to the Bastion's hunters, Rolf and Balder. Just like in the first experiment, you simply need to bring Falk along and then start a conversation with the given character.
Meeting with Thialg
The fourth experiment requires you to lead Falk to Thialg, who is stationed in the Bastion. Same as before, simply initiate a conversation with Thialg.
Helping Rolf
The final experiment involves helping Rolf, who is near the Bastion - his location will be marked on the map. Aid him by killing the nearby monsters. After defeating the enemies and talking to Falk, the Ambitious Self-Experimentation quest in Elex 2 will be completed.
Falk's next quest is Deceitful Friendship. You will receive it about two days after completing the aforementioned quest. While in the Bastion, the CRONY U4 drone will share some information with you - it turns out that Falk has become involved with a dangerous person.
