On this page of the guide to Elex 2 we've listed all the skill trainers. You'll learn where the trainers are and what skills can they teach Jax. This knowledge can be helpful when developing your character. You will also find a map with the locations of all skill trainers. The trainers have been marked with red points - by hovering the cursor over you will learn the name of the character, as well as the skill tree that you can learn.

Who are the Skill Trainers?

Upgrading your character's skills in Elex 2 is complicated. You can't immediately spend skill points obtained by advancing to higher experience levels. You must find a skill trainer and meet the requirements to unlock the skill you want. These are:

1. Finding the correct trainer - each trainer has their own specialty and can't teach you any skill you want. The list later on should come in handy, as it will tell you who to visit to upgrade a skill.
2. Having at least 1 skill point - you don't lose skill points until you spend them. You don't have to use them right away but you can hoard them to visit a specific trainer and purchase several skills at once.
3. Developing Jax's attributes - each skill has different requirements (in the example pictured above we need 25 Constitution and 15 Strength) which increase if the skill has several levels.
4. Paying for training with Elexit - the better the skill, the more elexit you must spend to learn it - 500 in the example pictured above. You should save up for training and not spend your money on less important things.

Chloe - Social

Chloe is in the Fort, in her bar in the south-western area of this location.

Tilas - Health, Metabolism, Chemistry

Tilas is an alchemist found in a house near the Fort's main entrance. He is also the questgiver for the Tilas' Apprentice quest.

Lasse - Protection, Vitality, Gunsmithing

Lasse is a blacksmith in the eastern part of the Fort - to find him turn left after entering through the main gate. You'll meet him during the Admission to the Fort quest.

Astrid - Ranged Combat, Survival, Obtaining Trophies

Astrid is a huntress located to the northwest of the Fort. You'll learn where she is during the Eliminate the Troll quest.

Scrappy - Gunsmithing, Mining

Scrappy is in the valley south-east of the Fort. Like Tilas, he's linked to the Admission to the Fort quest.

Batulga - Melee Combat, Vitality

Batulga can be found in front of the entrance to the Cellar, a bar found in the Grotto. You must complete the Cleaning up the Grotto quest before he'll agree to train you.

Dymitr OR Marat - Melee combat, Heavy weapons, Health, Morkon skills

Learning from one of these characters is unlocked after joining the Morkons. While completing the faction's mission, specifically during Bahadur's Right Hand quest, you will have to decide whether you are on the side of Dimitri or Marat. The choice decides which character will become your trainer.

Vlad - Survival, Obtaining Trophies

Vlad is in the Cellar, a bar in the Grotto. In addition to training you he's also the questgiver of the No More Rat Meat mission.

Gosta - Protection, Health, Attributes

Gosta is the owner of the Cellar bar in the Grotto.

Bahadur - Morkon Skills

Bahadur will only train you after you join the Morkons.

Squit - Thievery

Squit is related to the quest A Little Thief activated shortly after entering the Crater. Leaving the crystals to Squit during the quest will unlock his services.

Mercenary - Ranged Combat, Heavy Weapons, Protection, Health, Survival, Gunsmithing

The Mercenary can be found in the Crater (the Outlaws' city), in the trading district to the right of the main entrance.

Instructor - Chemistry, Attributes, Outlaw skills

The Instructor can be found in the upper area of the Crater but you can only use his services after joining the Outlaws.

Hector - Locks, Hacking, Empathy

Hector is in the main building of the upper Crater district.

Martial Arts Instructor - Melee Combat, Ranged Combat, Heavy Weapons, Protection, Vitality, Gunsmithing

You'll find the Martial Arts Instructor in the central area of the Depo (the Albs' headquarters).

Cora - Metabolism, Chemistry

Cora is in one of the buildings in the right area of the Depo.

Ejnar - Melee Combat, Heavy Weapons, Health, Vitality, Survival

You'll meet Ejnar soon after entering the Castle, the Clerics' headquarters.

Vivian - Gunsmithing, Hacking

Vivian can be found in a building to the left of the Castle's main entrance.

Heinrich - Melee Combat, Ranged Combat, Heavy Weapons, Protection

Heinrich can be found in the central area of the Castle, on the training grounds.

Eva - Attributes, Science, Social

Eva stays in a large building deep in the Castle.

Gardok - Locks, Mining

Gardok will head to the Bastion and become your trainer after you recruit him during the Preparing the Bastion quest.

Thialg - Melee combat, Heavy Weapons, Health, Vitality

Just like Gardok, Thialg will become your trainer and move to the bastion after the Preparing the Bastion quest.

Doorman - Melee combat, Heavy weapons

A character named Doorman is guarding the entrance to Chloe's bar in the Fort.

Halla - Berserker Skills, Protection

Halla is in the upper district of Fort. The option to learn from her is unlocked after joining the Berserkers faction through The Berserker's Trust quest.

Tjark - Locks, Thievery, Hacking, Empathy

The option to learn from Tjark is available if you join the Claws in the Fort. More information can be found on a separate page of the guide: Thieves Guild - how to join?.

Mick - Chemistry, Socialization

Mick owns a bar in the Crater.

Kell - Albs skills, Health, Gunsmithing, Hacking

Kell is in the hangar in the Depository. The option to learn from him is available only after joining the Albs faction. You can do it after completing An Alb Agent quest.

Alzea - Attributes, Science

You will find a woman named Alzea in the eastern part of the Depository, in a large building with two entrances.

Brax - Thievery, Hacking, Mining

Brax can be found in the eastern part of the Depository - he is leaning against a chest near one of the buildings.

Hagen - Clerics' skills

You can find Hagen in the Castle, but the option to learn from him is unlocked after joining the Clerics faction. In turn, joining the Clerics is possible only after joining the Albs.

Rolf - Ranged Combat, Survival, Obtaining Trophies

Rolf can be found in front of the main entrance to the Bastion.
