This page of the guide focuses on ways of obtaining ammunition in Elex 2. Ammunition is especially important if your character is focused on ranged combat. You will need a large supply of arrows, bullets, bolts, grenades, rockets or energy cells - depending on the chosen weapon. Our tips will show you how to get ammo.
World exploration
Carefully explore all the locations you visit. You can find ammunition everywhere. On the bodies of enemies, in chests or on cabinets. The biggest ammunition supplies can be found on enemies equipped with ranged weapons. Therefore, it's good to visit any bandit camps.
Traders
If you decide to use ranged weapons frequently, you will probably have to visit traders. Arrows or bolts are sold by most merchants. However, bullets or rockets can be bought only from specialized traders (e.g. belonging to a specific faction). The blacksmith in Bastion has all types of ammunition.
Crafting
When the merchants' supplies are exhausted, you can replenish your ammunition by using crafting. You need the recipe of the given ammunition and the required materials. Both recipes and materials can be found in the merchants' offers and during exploration. Workbenches for crafting ammo can be found, e.g. in the Bastion.
