On this page of the Elex 2 game guide, you will find a walkthrough of the Escort Ivan to the Grotto mission you will receive after completing the An Unwelcome Morkon quest. Completing the mission is necessary to continue the story of Tengis' Judgment.
Traveling with Ivan
During the mission, you will have to follow Ivan. From time to time, he will stop to talk with you. At some point, he will offer you to kill nearby (low-level) monsters and collect meat from them. Do this and go back to Ivan who will be waiting in the ruins nearby.
The conversation will continue in the ruins. Ivan will give you a recipe and a request to cook a meal in a nearby kitchen. Then you can go to sleep - you will find the bed in the ruins.
Going through the tunnel
In the morning, the journey will continue. The monsters you meet along the way shouldn't be a problem for you - especially since Ivan is a big help in combat. Going through the tunnel can be troublesome - you will meet strong bandits there. However, they can be easily killed by shooting the oil barrel . But remember to keep your distance because the explosion has a long range.
Meeting with Ratibor
As you approach the Grotto, you will meet Ratibor looking for Ivan. Now you have to choose whether to confirm Ivan's version or reveal the truth and say that Ivan is not following the faction's orders.
- Confirm Ivan's version - the mission Escort Ivan to the Grotto will continue.
- Reveal the truth - Ivan will be imprisoned, and the mission Escort Ivan to the Grotto will fail. If you've chosen the latter option, you can now return to Tengis to complete the Tengis' Judgment quest.
If you want to get more experience points, take Ivan's side. Revealing the truth allows you to complete the Tengis' Judgment mission faster, but apart from that, it does not give you any additional bonuses.
Reaching the Grotto
If you side with Ivan, the travel to the Grotto will be continued. Near the Grotto, Ivan will notice a troll in the area - you can hunt it, but Ivan will not participate in the fight, so this is an option only for advanced characters. After reaching the Grotto, the mission will end, and you can continue the Tengis' Judgment quest.
