This page of the Elex 2 game guide contains the walkthrough of the Tilas's Apprentice mission. You will receive the task from Tilas, the alchemist in the Fort. Your goal will be to find the lost apprentice. You will need to complete this mission to gain Tilas' trust, which is necessary during The Berserker's Trust quest. Our advice will help you make the decision concerning Sid and Marwin.
Meeting with Sid
Go to the place marked on the map. There, look around in search for a person - an Outlaw named Sid. Talk to him.
It turns out that Sid wants to get rid of Marwin and become Tilas's apprentice. You have to make a choice on how to resolve this situation.
- You can tell him that you'll kill Marwin. This is actually the best choice as it allows you to make the final decision later without having to fight Sid or bully him. The choice requires you to kill Marwin and Sid will show you his approximate location (it will be marked on the map).
- Intimidating Sid. This option requires 20 Strength. This will end the conversation with Sid and allow you to make a choice during your encounter with Marwin.
- Killing Sid. When you kill Sid, you will immediately take Marwin's side, but you will be forced to fight a fairly strong opponent.
Finding Marwin
Regardless of the choice you made, you will now have to find Marwin. He can be found in the area marked in the screenshot above.
Once there, it will turn out that Marwin is fighting monsters. Help him and then go to his camp to talk to him and make a choice (as long as you haven't killed Sid already).
Choice: kill Marwin
By killing Marwin, you'll be taking the side of Sid and the Outlaws, which may have a positive effect on your relationship with this faction later in the game. Marwin has few health points, so you should be able to defeat him quickly. After the fight, return to Sid and then to Tilas. Sid will become his apprentice, and the Apprentice Tilas mission will be completed.
Choice: help Marwin
If you choose to side with Marwin during your conversation, you can return to Tilas right away without having to meet Sid again. Marwin will become his apprentice and you will have completed the Tilas's Apprentice mission in Elex 2.
