How to get a Jackhammer?
To mine ore in Elex 2 you need a Jackhammer. It can be found in many locations - usually in mines. You can also buy it from certain merchants.
For example, you can find a Jackhammer in the mine near the Fort, as pictured above. One of Scrappy's quests requires you to go to the mine but you can also head there on your own. You will find the Jackhammer right after entering the mine.
How to mine ore?
With the Jackhammer in your inventory, you can start mining ore. Look for large stones with a colored tint. For example - stones tinted blue are Elexit ore, and stones tinted brown are iron ore.
Elexit ore is most often found on the surface, and iron ore is usually found in mines.
Now you must simply approach the ore and press the mining button. A short process of obtaining resources will begin.
After a while, the resources will be added to your inventory. It's worth noting that you can increase the number of obtained resources by learning the Mining skill. One of its possible teachers is Scrappy.
