Jasir's farm � You can find two notes at the farm - a Letter and Burak's Poetry (the note is in the basement of one of the houses).
Cave � Doctor's Note #4 - the document is in the cave with the military convoy which you explore while completing the Anomalies main quest. Check the back of the truck.
Trailer 1 � Doctor's Note #3 - the note is inside the truck's trailer. This is the same place where you'll also find a nuclear warhead tied to the game's secret ending. You can open the trailer after you've collected a key from a warehouse near the granary (the one with a freak of nature).
Trailer 2 � Two documents from the Doctor's Note group can be found inside a truck trailer. Be careful, because you may encounter a screamer here!
Post office � Letter - there is a total of 14 letters scattered throughout the entire post office.
Survivor's Note #2 - the document is in one of the rooms with the letters.
Atilla's mansion � You can visit this place at the earliest while completing the Vanitas main quest.
There are eight documents inside the building - The Origins of the Children of the Sun #1-#2; The function of the "Mother" #1-#3; The Cult of the Sun, Sky and Wind #1-#2; The God of the Sun.
While completing The Fate of the Fool main quest you'll automatically obtain the Atilla's Letter note.
Notes are one of the categories of collectibles in Dying Light: The Following and usually these are notes or letters left by someone else. You can find them in quest locations and other important locations. In total there are thirty three of them and the map seen above should help in locating them. The more difficult ones have been described further in this text.
Cave - You need to go to the cave, where there is an attacked military convoy - by default, you visit this location during the main quest Anomalies. The Doctor's Note #4 is inside the trailer of the truck (the entrance has been shown in the above screenshot).
Trailer 1 - acquiring this note is quite a difficult feat to achieve. The item is located inside of a trailer, shown on the first screenshot - the nuclear warhead associated with the hidden ending can be found there as well. In order to get inside the trailer, you must first acquire they Military Transport Key from the warehouse, marked on the second screenshot. The warehouse stands near the granary, in which the Freak of Nature (boss) can be found - you can either defeat the monster or avoid fighting it.
