Make a backup of your game saves regularly. In Broken World player has only one save slot, so if something goes wrong, you can always use your backup.
Try to complete all side quests. The rewards are really worth your time.
Explore the whole areas using maps, in many places you can find reagents for enchanting weapons.
Keep an eye on color names of your enemies. The green, blue and yellow ones mean that you have a chance to win. Orange, and especially red color mean that it's better for you to avoid confrontation with this monster. This can save you from being surrounded by really hard to kill enemies.
During the fight try to concentrate on the strongest enemy (use the Mirror mode)
If you don't use ranged weapons or spells, find a henchman with such ability, you'll need this later in the game.
Try to think, which pet you'll need. There's plenty to choose from and everyone one has unique abilities and powers. There's no sense to exchange pet often, because good pet needs time and experience to grow. Besides that, pet can carry quite big amount of inventory, they can fight and use their powers and emanations to help the party.
Equip the whole party with the Summon Teleporter spell. Sometimes it's the only way to survive.
Try to get items that raise fire resistance and death magic resistance.
Beware of the thief known from the base version of DS 2 (instead of name he's got - ???). If he shows up, kill him quickly or you'll lost some really good items.
