Airfields

The basic rule of managing numerous regions is the ability to quickly transport units. This is made possible by the Airfields that you can build next to the villages. They have quite high maintenance costs, so you shouldn't overdo them or invest in them in the early stages of the game.

Where to transport the units?

Your home base also works like an Airfield.

Units can only be transported within the range of landing sites, i.e. within one or from one to the other. The base also works like an airfield, so you can immediately transport units from the base to one of the other airfields. By pressing X key you will activate the view mode of zones that can be accessed by air.

How to transport units?

To use the Shuttle, highlight the units within the range of the Landing Site / Base and select the small icon from their panel. You have to pay 20 Solari for each unit transported, regardless of the distance.

Each squad is loaded onto an individual shuttle.

Preventing transport

Shuttles can be shot down by Rocket Batteries, but not by a single rocket hit. However, there is a method to prevent the enemy from flying in the selected region, including transporting reinforcements there.

To do this, use the Interdiction Zone operation, which prevents flights in the selected region.
