The game was designed for games of four factions on one map. By default, your opponents will be controlled by AI. However, the producers expect to implement a multiplayer in the future: apart from the publisher's declarations, we can already see an inactive Multiplayer button in the main menu.
The main distinguishing feature of the multiplayer will be the pace of the game. At the moment, it's possible to pause the game and interact with it.
