This page of the guide features a walkthrough of the optional quest Figure in Red, during which you'll need to catch three different fish for the mysterious Red Hooded Figure. We explain where to find the fishing spots and what rods you'll need.
Warning! This quest has a time limit of a few days - the game does not let you know about it. We suggest only accepting the quest if you want to take care of it immediately. If you take too long to return to the Red Hooded Figure, they'll die, and you won't get any sort of reward.

Unlocking the quest - talking to the Red Hooded Figure
You'll find the Red Hooded Figure on a small island west of the main islands in Devil's Spine. Interact with them. They'll task you with bringing them three specimens total, one at a time.
The quest requires catching specific kinds of fish, which require specific equipment. You'll find the necessary information on the All fishing rods page.

Returning to the Red Hooded Figure
After some successful fishing you can return to the Red Hooded Figure and give them the spoils. You'll be rewarded with the Nautical Engineer book.
