Dredge: A Place to Rest Dredge guide, tips
A Place to Rest is an optional quest in the Dredge game. During the mission, you will help Builder collect Lumber and Metal Scraps, as well as transport the character to Steel Point. On the following page of the guide you will find a description of the passage of this Pursuit.

Unlocking the quest - talking to the Builder

The Builder will spawn in the city of Greater Marrow right after starting The Collector main quest. She's unavailable before that.
Once you talk to her, she'll ask you about your experiences in The Marrows. Your answers don't matter much, as you'll start the quest A Place to Rest no matter your choice.

The first part of the quest tasks you with acquiring two pieces of Lumber (#1) and two pieces of Metal Scraps (#2). You can acquire them in special spots using the Dredge action. We've marked the nearest spots where you can find them on the map above.

The easiest way will be to head to Steel Point right away, as you can find Lumber and Metal Scraps near this harbor.
Transporting the materials to Steel Point

Steel Point is located in the northern part of The Marrows. Sail there and dock the ship.
Enter the Material Pile and place Lumber and Metal Scraps in the respective slots on the left side of the screen. You can now inform the client you've completed this part of the quest.
Transporting the Builder to Steel Point
Return to the Builder in Greater Marrow and deliver the news. She'll ask you to take her to Steel Point. To do so, you must move the passenger's silhouette to your cargo hold.
From now on you must sail very carefully, because if your ship is damaged, you can end up blocking off Builder's cargo slot. If that happens, she'll fall overboard, failing the quest.
The quest will end automatically once you reach your destination. The Builder will thank you for your help and give you 2x Research Parts. From now on, when dredging nearby, you'll have a chance of fishing out additional Research Parts.
