Dredge: Hermitage Dredge guide, tips
In order to get the Rusted Music Box relic, you will first have to complete the Pursuit called Hermitage. On the following page of the guide you will find a description of how to complete this quest. You will learn where to find the Hermitage and Retired Whealer, how to extract the Family Crest, and you will learn how to use Explosives and blow up Debris.

Here you can find a walkthrough for the Hermitage quest. Successfully completing it is rewarded with Rusted Music Box, which is one of the Relics that you need to deliver to Collector. The task will see you search for Family Crest and use Packed Explosives to destroy Debris.

Unlocking the quest - reaching the Ruins
To start the quest, you need to reach Hermit who lives in Ruins dock in Gale Cliffs region. Use the picture above to locate this place.
Once arrived, talk to Hermit to listen to his tale. He will ask you to find Family Crest, which is a family heirloom.
Finding Family Crest

Family Crest is obtained through a Dredge action. Go to the area shown in the picture above. You'll need to circle the island with the dock. Some pathways are blocked by Debris, but for now you cannot do nothing about them.
Once you arrive at the location, do a Dredge, complete the mini-game and you will fish out Family Crest after a moment. Information about the mini-game can be found on the How to obtain Dredge? page.
Once you have the heirloom, return to Hermit in Ruins. Report your success in the search.
Remember to not take any detours and sail straight for Ruins when bringing back the Crest, as there is a monster prowling in Gale Cliffs that can attack unexpectedly and damage your ship seriously. More on this creature can be found on How to avoid the Gale Cliffs monster? page of the guide.
Visiting Ingfell and talking to Retired Whealer
Hermit will ask you to deliver the heirloom to his brother who lives in Ingfell. The place is north-west of the Ruins.
Talk to the Retired Whaler in Ingfell and give him the memento. The man will tell his story and give you another task.
Blowing up Debris
You need to set the fuse on fire and destroy the obstacle indicated by the questgiver to open the sea route again. Sail to the doomed place and interact with Debris. The barrier is marked with yellow flags.
Answer Yes to blow up the obstacle . You can now return to Retired Whaler and confirm that the task has been completed.
Transporting Hermit to Ingfell
Retired Whaler will ask you to deliver a message back to Hermit. Simply ride back to Ruins and talk to the Hermit. Take him to the ship by placing his silhouette in the cargo hold and then transport him to Ingfell. Travel safely, as if you damage the ship, Hermit may go overboard.
After the last conversation and finishing the Pursuit, you will gain access to Whaling Yards, where you can purchase Packed Explosives. This item will now also be available at the merchant in any Pontoon location.
Obtaining the Rusted Music Box relic
By completing Hermitage, you'll receive access to free Packed Explosives. Return to Ruins. Left of the dock you will find Debris which you can now blow up . The obstacle in question is marked in the screenshot above.
Swim through the newly unlocked corridor and proceed to the shipwreck. There you need to complete a Dredge action - complete the mini-game.
You've collected the Rusted Music Box Relic. Deliver it to Collector in Blackstone Isle to get your reward.
