Master of the Peak

How to unlock: Complete "Soldier's Peak"

Comments: Soldier's Peak is the name of the biggest quest from Warden's Peak - the DLC add-on for the game. The walkthrough for the quest can be found in Warden's Keep section of our guide. You can complete the quest any way you want.

Diabolist

How to unlock: Take advantage of Avernus's research.

Comments: The trophy is connected to a discovery which you make when in progress of Soldier's Peak - visit the third page of our walkthrough which describes the visit in Avernus' tower.

Find the alchemy table shown on the image above. It contains Avernus' research and a potion. The contents of the bottle can only be drunk by the main hero. Drink it to receive two new talents (unlocked for the currently chosen class). Drinking the potion unlocks the achievement.

Rock and a Hard Place

How to unlock: Completed "The Golem in Honnleath"

Comments: The Golem in Honnleath is the name of the story quest added by The Stone Prisoner DLC. You can find its walkthrough in The Stone Prisoner -> The Golem in Honnleath. You can complete the quest any way you want.

Stone's Lament

How to unlock: Completed "A Golem's Memories"

Comments: A Golem's Memories is one of the story quests found in The Stone Prisoner DLC. You can find the walkthrough in DLC -> The Stone Prisoner section of our guide. We recommend reading the walkthrough, as the quest isn't added automatically. Interestingly enough, the quest can be started in four different ways - all of them are described in detail in our guide.

In War, Victory

This trophy is added along with Return to Ostagar DLC.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Defeat the ogre that killed King Cailan.

Comments: Return to Ostagar DLC enables you to avenge king Cailan by defeating the Ogre that killed him. The encounter takes place in the final part of the quest, where you encounter a necromancer and the Risen Ogre.

Skip the ogre and instead run north to get closer to genlock necromancer. This character is of mage class, so killing him in melee combat shouldn't pose a problem. Defeat the necromancer as fast as possible, as his death will stop the ogre from resurrecting and make nearby ghosts stop appearing.

The Enduring Vigil

A trophy added with the Awakening expansion.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Acquire all upgrades for Vigil's Keep.

Comments: The Vigil Keep's upgrades can be acquired by completing chosen side quests from Awakening expansion. Here is a list of tasks related to this achievement:

Savior of Kal'hirol

How to unlock: Destroy the Broodmothers in Kal'Hirol

Comments: This achievement is connected to one of the main quests from Awakening - Last of the Legion. Broodmothers are killed at the end of this task, after dealing with The Lost and the Fire Golem.

Blind Vengeance

How to unlock: Escape the Silverite Mines.

Comments: This achievement is connected to one of the main quests from Awakening - The Righteous Path. The escape takes place at the end of the task, after retrieving your equipment and defeating dragon whelps.

Pride Before the Fall

How to unlock: Defeat the Baroness.

Comments: This achievement is connected to one of the main quests from Awakening - Shadows of the Blackmarsh.

The fight with the Baroness takes place in the final part of the quest, even if you've decided to make an agreement with her. From time to time, the Baroness creates a portal to the Fade from which shadows will come out. Try to destroy the portals as soon as they appear. If you wait too long, you may be overwhelmed by the incoming opponents.

Amaranthine's Last Hope

A trophy added with the Awakening expansion.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Save the City of Amaranthine.

Comments: This trophy is connected to an important decision that takes place in the second part of one of the quests, called Awakening.

Once you reach Amaranthine, you'll have to face darkspawn. After the battle, you'll be contacted by Constable Aiden. In the meantime, a messenger will also appear with a message from the Architect. He will also report that Vigil's Keep is being attacked. To get the trophy, choose the variant that involves defending Amaranthine.

This achievement and Keeper of the Vigil are mutually exclusive. It is best to save the game before making a decision. This will allow you to win both trophies during the same playthrough.

Keeper of the Vigil

A trophy added with the Awakening expansion.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Save Vigil's Keep.

Comments: This trophy is connected to an important decision that takes place in the second part of one of the quests, called Awakening.

Once you reach Amaranthine, you'll have to face darkspawn. After the battle, you'll be contacted by Constable Aiden. In the meantime, a messenger will also appear with a message from the Architect. He will also report that Vigil's Keep is being attacked. To get this achievement, choose the variant in which you defend the Vigil's Keep from the enemy.

This achievement and Amaranthine's Last Hope are mutually exclusive. It is best to save the game before making a decision. This will allow you to win both trophies during the same playthrough.

Awakening

How to unlock: Complete Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening

Comments: To obtain this trophy you need to complete the final story quest of the Awakening expansion - Depths of Depravity. The trophy is unlocked once you defeat The Mother - the final boss of the expansion.

Commander of the Grey

A trophy added with the Awakening expansion.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Reach level 30.

Comments: Rather a straightforward trophy, but remember to follow these tips:

  1. Begin Awakening with a character that is at least level 20. If you haven't reached level 20 in the course of the standard campaign, you can spend more time in the game or use a pre-made character that can be used to complete the expansion.
  2. Complete both storyline and side quests. This will allow you to get the required amount of experience.

Bane of Thedas

A trophy added by Darkspawn Chronicles DLC.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Hand victory to the archdemon by killing Ferelden's last Grey Warden

Comments: This is a trophy connected to the main storyline in Darkspawn Chronicles DLC. You will receive it shortly after taking care of Alistair.

Enthralling

A trophy added by Darkspawn Chronicles DLC.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Earn maximum approval from all thrall types.

Comments: To unlock the achievement, simply continue to kill encountered opponents. To get access to unlimited amounts of opponents, take a look at the quest called "Slay the Healer". During one of its sections, the templars will appear without end, while each killed opponent is rewarded with reputation.

When it comes to thralls, following types will be counted towards the achievement.

  1. Blight Wolf
  2. Genlock
  3. Hurlock
  4. Hurlock Emissary
  5. Ogre
  6. Shriek

Ogre's Keeper

A trophy added by Darkspawn Chronicles DLC.

Trophy type: silver

How to unlock: Keep the initial ogre alive as your thrall throughout the entire DLC.

Comments: The ogre in question joins your party during "Save the Ogre". Watch out when completing "Sneak Past the Ballistae" and "Free the Ogre", as your Ogre may not survive these missions. It is recommended to create a manual save before starting these tasks.

Provocateur

A trophy added by Leliana's Song DLC.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Collected and assembled the Battledress of the Provocateur.

Comments: In order to complete the set, you need to find six Masterwork Leather Pieces. Here is where you can find them.

  1. One of the pieces is in a closed room in Arl of Denerim's estate.
  2. Another piece is on the armor stand in Arl of Denerim's estate.
  3. A piece can be found in a closed box in Arl of Denerim's estate.
  4. One of the pieces is dropped by Jovi Merice (Kill the Loose Tongue).
  5. One of the pieces is in a locker in the dungeon.
  6. One of the pieces is in the drawer inside the Chantry.

Turning Point

A trophy added by Leliana's Song DLC.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Hear Leliana's version of her betrayal.

Comments: This is a trophy related to the main storyline of Leliana's Song DLC and you can not miss it. To get the trophy, you need to begin a quest called "The Game". When completing the quest, you can use any dialogue options you wish.

Vendetta

A trophy added by Leliana's Song DLC.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Destroyed the career of Guard Captain Eams.

Comments: This Trophy is related to the quest "Marjolaine's Vendetta". To get it, you need to use five objects on Guard Captain Eams:

  1. Fenced Ferelden Jewelry - this item is obtained during the quest "Stealing in the Market".
  2. Fenced Historical Costumes - this item is obtained during the quest "Stealing in the Market"
  3. Fenced Tevinter Antiquities - this item is obtained during the quest "Stealing in the Market"
  4. Jovi Merice's Corpse - this item is obtained during the quest "Kill the Loose Tongue"
  5. Suspect Underthings - this item is obtained during the quest "Defeat Bann Perrin's Guards"

Reaper

A trophy added by The Golems of Amgarrak DLC.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Defeat the Harvester.

Comments: Reaper is the most powerful opponent which you encounter during The Golems of Amgarrak DLC.

Grim Reaper

A trophy added by The Golems of Amgarrak DLC.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Defeat the Harvester on Hard or Nightmare difficulty.

Comments: Choose the Hard mode, as Nightmare mode makes the encounter even more difficult. We also recommend to level up your hero as much as possible by completing quests available in other DLCs for Dragon Age: Origins. If your character is strong enough, the encounter will be much easier. Your chances of defeating the Reaper can be further increased if:

  1. You have a great bow and perfect accuracy or a great weapon+shield and high resistance to enemy attacks or spells that summon allies that can distract the Reaper.
  2. You have a large supply of potions.
  3. Your character has a high percentage of melee attack evasion.

A Secret Stitched Together

A trophy added by The Golems of Amgarrak DLC.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Gather all of the research notes in Amgarrak.

Comments: To unlock this trophy, you need to find 6 Golem Research Notes - 3 notes are found in Amgarrak (two of them in the Green Dimension), 2 are found in Ancient Hall (Blue Dimension), and 1 is found in Forge (in Red Dimension).

Varterral's Fall

Trophy added by Witch Hunt DLC.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Defeat the Varterral on Hard or Nightmare difficulty

Comments: Choose the Hard mode, as Nightmare mode makes the encounter even more difficult. We also recommend to level up your hero as much as possible by completing quests available in other DLCs for Dragon Age: Origins. If your character is strong enough, the encounter will be much easier.

Witch Hunter

Trophy added by Witch Hunt DLC.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Complete "Witch Hunt"

Comments: You simply need to complete the new story quest - the trophy will appear in your collection after finishing the DLC. The adventure will end soon after defeating Varterral and talking to the Morrigan (you can choose any dialogue options).

A Time of Wood and Stone

Trophy added by Witch Hunt DLC.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Gather the lore of Cadash Thaig.

Comments: Visiting Cadash Thaig is a part of the plot of Witch Hunt. During your stay at the Thaig, you must look around for four quest items:

  1. Scrap of Paper - Hangs not far from the last bridge.
  2. Torn Letter - the letter is hidden among the bones next to the sixth vortex.
  3. Worn Journal - the journal is hidden among the bones near the fifth vortex.
  4. Worn Note - a note is in one of the boxes near the second vortex.

Through the Looking Glass

Trophy added by Witch Hunt DLC.

Trophy type: bronze

How to unlock: Complete the Scrying Ritual.

Comments: This trophy is awarded in the course of the storyline of Witch Hunt, and you cannot miss it. The ritual begins when you get to the elven ruins and involves protecting the grounds from incoming groups of demons.
