Death is an inseparable part of many games, and Dragon Quest Builders 2 is no different. Hero dies when her or his health bar drops to zero, and this can happen due to various factors and circumstances, like receiving a final blow of the enemy, entering stinging plants, or even too long time of being under water (which results in a slow loss of health after exhausting the fatigue bar).

However, death in Dragon Quest Builders 2 is not as terrible as you might think. By dying, you will find yourself in the main, initial location on a specific island. It is worth noting that during the death in Dragon Quest Builders 2 you do not get any negative penalties and you do not lose your previously collected items. Everything remains the same, except that you move to the initial location. Thanks to this solution you don't have to worry about losing all your loot if you take up a fight with a given opponent and lose it. However, it is worth remembering that along with your death, the health of enemies with whom you fought is going to return to their original state.
