Find Aramis Stilton (present) | Mission 7 Dishonored 2 Guide

After walking through the door in the dust district, you will enter Stilton's mansion. Get inside and then take the stairs from the lobby to the first floor, and enter the room vis-a-vis. You will find the first rune and a safe. This safe is empty, but you can take a mental note of its location, since you'll be able to get back here more than once.
Before going to Aramis, you can walk across this floor and put the Nestkeeper to sleep - he's behind the gate. This will spare you some trouble in the near future.
If you're ready, go through the corridor seen above and jump down the nearest gap in the floor to talk to Stilton. A short cut scene will commence now, during which the outsider will give you a singular object called Timepiece. It will allow you to travel in time - to the past and back to the present. Remember that some changes will influence future events as well.
If you're a Ghost type of player, explore the Aramis' house in the present and deploy the Timepiece only to see what's cracking in the past without the need to travel in time. Such approach will allow you to plan each step and eliminate the guards without triggering alarms. This is a small gratification for the powers that you're unable to use during the mission.
