On this page of the Disgaea RPG guide, you will find information about the Item World. You will learn how to level up your equipment and what the Innocents are.
You unlock the Item World after completing the Let's Take out the Trash! stage in the 2nd episode of the main mission in the Main Story.
Click on the Dimension Gate and select the Item World tab. There, you can level up your equipment and acquire Innocents.
Before heading to the Item World, you must equip yourself with weapons and armor - you can buy them at the Rosen Queen store.
It is worth noting that you don't need to spend Action Points to reach the next levels of the Item World. Every fight in this location will provide experience and a bit of HL coins. This makes Item World a perfect place to grind after you have spent all your AP.
Choosing item
When you enter the Item World, select a weapon from the Weapons tab or armor from the Armor tab and click Go to Item World.
If the item is equipped by one of your characters, a miniature of the hero will appear on it.
Each piece of equipment has its own level and rank, which affect a fight's difficulty level. Completing a level in Item World increases the level of equipment and statistics. Each item has its own maximum level, which depends on its rarity.
At levels 10, 30, and 100, you will face a boss. Defeat these powerful enemies to increase the item's stats significantly. In addition, bosses can drop weapons that are one level higher than the current one you have.
Auto Advance and Auto Subdue
Going through 100 levels for one item can seem very time-consuming. Item World has a special Auto Advance feature that will automatically move your party to the next level so it can fight another battle.
Press Auto Subdue to automatically tame an Innocent when it appears on the battlefield. You'll need a Subdue Ticket to automatically tame creatures. That way you won't accidentally kill an Innocent.
Innocent
Innocents are creatures living in the Item World. When you meet one of these creatures in battle, you must subdue them. In addition to the attack option, you will also be able to bribe the creature. Click on Bribe to give them Crab Miso or Golden Bar. The purple bar shows the creature's affinity level. When the bar is full, click on the Subdue icon to capture the creature.
That Innocent will be added to your list in the Party tab.
