In the container behind Whirling-in-Rags in Disco Elysium you can find some interesting things: discarded clothes, a notebook and a mug. It is the yellow "racist" mug that will be your guide to find the person disposing of the evidence in the task Who put the clothes in the trash?.

This guide page describes the task Who put the clothes in the trash? in Disco Elysium. You will find out where to find said clothes, what the yellow mug will be useful for and how to find the person who threw the pants into the container.

The task is available when you open the container at the back of the hotel. The main piece of the puzzle is the yellow cup you will find there. For now, however, you will not need it, as the next part of the task takes place on the third day.

You may come across the owner of the cup when you start the Open apartment door for Evrart task. You can recognize the owner by using the Composure ability (white skill check) when talking to Gary - he is staying with Morell, a Cryptozoologist in the north-west of the map, on the coast (available from day 3). Passing the skill check will end this thread.
