In the Buy FALN pants from Cuno quest in Disco Elysium, you have to purchase FALN tracksuit pants from Cuno.
Before you can buy FALN sweatpants from Cuno, you must find the victim's belongings first that have been thrown into the dumpster (Open the trash container quest) and then talk to Cuno about these items (Who put the clothes in the trash? quest - be sure to interview Garte in the hostel).
In the course of the conversation, take an interest in Cuno's pants by selecting the dialog option: Alright, entertain me - what's so great about these pants? The boy will tell you about the pants and then you can buy them from him for 15 Real. They raise Savoir Faire and Physical Instrument by 1. You'll only get 10 XP for completing the quest, so if you don't need these pants, you can ignore them because of the price.
Cuno will be much more talkative and willing to exchange when you pass the Empathy (white) skill check. You can find his shed in the corner of the building on the right and possibly get his respect (e.g. Physical Instrument red skill check during a conversation with the boy).
