Fast travel with Waypoints
In Diablo 4 , fast travel is done through Waypoints. You can find them in towns and villages. You must activate each Waypoint you come across.
After interacting with a Waypoint, choose another one from the ones visible on the world map. The game will display the name of the location and icons of shops/service providers - this is helpful if you are looking for, e.g. a specific merchant or blacksmith.
Scroll of Town Portal
Diablo 4 allows unlimited use of the Scroll of Town Portal - these scrolls are not considered consumables.
Your character can return to a town after going through the portal. The portal works both ways. If you decide to leave the town, the portal will disappear and you will have to return to the place where it was first used on foot.
Quickly leaving dungeons
Diablo IV has quite extensive dungeons. You can leave them by using the dungeon quick exit mechanic. It is very helpful if, for example, you have already explored a given dungeon in 100% or reached its last chamber.
You can select the yellow exit icon on the dungeon map.
Another way is to open the emotes menu - it has the Leave Dungeon item.
