In Diablo IV, your character not only has a unique name, but also a customized Player Title and a personal emblem. On this page of our guide, we explain how to read the current Player Title of your hero and other players, as well as where to find the menu that allows you to customize your Player Title.
Where to find Player Title
Player Title is an additional name that you can set for your character , e.g. lucky traveler. It always consists of 2 words and unlike the character's name, you can change it at will.
The player's currently selected Title is displayed in the Character window , below their name.
The title is visible to other players . This works both ways, of course, so when you meet other people, you can read the titles given to their characters.
Player Title has no practical use . Thanks to it, you can make your character stand out more or, for example, indicate your preferred style of play with the choice of words.
Customizing Player Title
To change the Player Title, enter the Character Menu and select Profile.
Press the Edit button (Triangle/Y on gamepad) Two columns will appear:
- Prefix ;
- Suffix .
Choose one word from the list in each of them. A Player Title is always a combination of two words. Finally , save the changes (Confirm) .
Additionally, you can choose an Emblem for your character. To do this, go to the second tab and choose a pattern from the ones offered.
Unlocking new word combinations
New words to use in the Player Title menu can be unlocked as rewards . In the example in the picture, they were awarded for completing one of the in-game challenges. The glossary will gradually grow as you play, and you can modify the current Player Title at any time for free.
