At the moment, you need constant Internet connection to play Diablo 4. This rule applies to all platforms - PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PS4 and PS5.
It is also required to create an account and login to the Battle.net. If you have a console, you need to pay for subscription to play online: PS Plus for PlayStation or Xbox Live Gold for Xbox One and Xbox Series.
The active subscription requirement does not apply to the Diablo IV beta. The only exception is Germany - you need an active subscription in that region.
