Legendary items are almost the highest class of equipment in Diablo Immortal. You can find them at the beginning of the game. They are characterized by the highest increase in attributes and possess Essence. Thanks to this Essence, a given piece of equipment modifies or strengthens the hero's skills.

Legendary items (orange) are the most desired items in the early game. Only the so-called "set" items are higher than them - by getting several (green) items from the same set, you get special bonuses.
Legendary items must be identified before you can use them. They are not always the most powerful - but they have a special feature: they can modify or strengthen the hero's skills (essence). Salvaging Legendary items grants you a Glowing Shard. In addition, you can extract the essence from items, but this will destroy them - you can, however, use the essence infinitely on other gear (but of the same type - the essence of a sword on a sword; a helmet on a helmet).
The best way to get Legendary items early in the game:
- Complete the pages of the Bestiary,
- Explore of Hidden Lairs,
- Battle Pass rewards,
- Dungeons with an increased chance of Legendary items - can be found in the Codex.
You can get Legends from other activities as well, but the ones listed above are the most effective. Legendary items cannot be traded or exchanged. If you don't need them, salvaging or extracting essences is all you can do with orange items you don't need. Remember that you have to pick up Legendary items by yourself, even with auto-pick up. If you forget an item in a dungeon, you will receive it in mail.
