You will face V's familiars throughout the entire level - the final battle takes place at the end where you will have to defeat all three of them. After dealing enough damage to any of the bosses, they will turn into a ball and stay inactive for a limited period of time. Try to eliminate Nightmare first. Next, you can focus on either Shadow or Griffon - this depends on where they are standing.

Remember, enemies will come back after a certain period of time. Avoid Nightmare's attacks and watch out for Shadow - the latter likes to charge at you suddenly. You can use your Devil Trigger and focus on one target to finish it off quickly. The bosses share a health bar - this means that you have to defeat each one of them twice to win the entire fight.
