The next chapter of our Devil May Cry 5 guide describes the Qlipoth mission. Nero follows in the footsteps of the mysterious roots of the Qlipoth tree to return to the top of the tree and confront Urizen.

Once you've started your mission, run ahead and you'll quickly come across empusa. Defeat your enemies and the barrier that barricades the exit shall disappear from the battle arena. If you have a double jump, jump on the road from the picture above and destroy the clusters of red orbs.
Follow the road ahead of you and you'll come across more enemies. At a junction of roads turn right and jump through a hole in the building to get some extra red orbs.
Return to the branch and go left. Beat all tentacles and walk through the gate and you'll come across new enemies - Hell Caina. These enemies wield scythes and are quite a lot more dangerous in battle than ordinary empusa. Defeat enemies and run into the building.
To the right of the stairs you will find an Overture that you can lift if you have a free slot in your inventory. Run up and kill enemies who suddenly appear. Then walk along the corridor further and after you fall down, go left and pick up the Nidhogg Hatchling. Place the item in the growth spot near you and you'll unveil a further passage.
Jump up and continue along the corridor. On the right you will find the Gerber glove. Run up the stairs to the top, turn left, destroy the red crystal and continue along the road. Enter the room on the right and destroy the crystal suspended from the ceiling. Defeat all enemies.
Exit the building and walk right. In the large room you will find the Nidhogg Hatchling, that once looted will call the demons. Return now to the crescent growth and follow the unveiled road. Destroy the suspended red crystal and continue along the corridor. Destroy another two red crystals and enter the room and you'll learn about the secret missions. You can now complete secret mission 01, as described in a separate chapter in this guide. It's worth finding and completing them, as they will help you gain blue crystal fragments.
Exit the room and continue your journey. You will reach a large room where a wave of demons will soon appear. Defeat all enemies and go out through the balcony to watch the cutscene. Jump down, destroy red crystals and empusa. At the end of the alley you'll find Nidhogg Hatchling, take it. Go back and you'll be attacked by new enemies - Hell Antenora. These enemies have strong attacks and often strike even when you are attacking them - so you need to remain vigilant and avoid them.
After winning the battle, return to the growth and remove it. You'll find a phone booth - whenever you find one like that, you can summon a truck and you'll be able to do your shopping. The phone booth is often present before hard boss battles.
Improve Nero skills, buy additional metal prostheses and move forward. A boss awaits you called Goliath - a description of the fight against this opponent can be found on the other page of our guide. When you win a duel, the Mission reaches the end and you unlock a new metal prosthesis - Helter Skelter.
