This quest involves acquiring the titular neuroplasticity calibrator, a device which can help Jensen in mitigating the negative effects of newly found experimental augmentations. This mission can be unlocked at the end of the main quest Return to shape, the one that involves meeting an augmentation specialist, Vaclav Koller in Time Machine (M5,1) and with his help, regaining access to Jensen's augmentations. During the final part of the conversation with Koller, you can ask him about additional information about the calibrator. Thanks to this, you will learn that Otar Botkoveli has it. Koller will give you Otar's location.
Alternatively, you can search for the calibrator before you meet with Vaclav Koller, and regain access to Jensen's standard augmentations. This variant is a good idea if you want to unlock Time Traveler achievement. Otherwise, the priority should be to unlock the normal augmentations, which will be useful in the further part of the game. If you have the calibrator, you can give it to Koller at once, after finding his dungeon in Time Machine.

List of objectives
1. MANDATORY - Travel to Cista Ctvrt - You have to reach Capek metro station and travel to the northern part of Prague (M3 map)
2. MANDATORY - Get the calibrator - the calibrator is in one of the rooms of the casino in the sewers under the Cista district in the northern part of Prague (M9,4). You can steal it or receive it thanks to a proper direction of the conversation with Otar.
Finding the casino
The casino can be found in the sewers under the Cista district in the northern part of Prague (M3 map) and if you haven't visited this part of the town yet, you have to go to the Capek metro station and choose Monument station as a destination. Once you reach northern Prague, go to the western part of the map - the Cista district is there (in the eastern part of the map there are separate sewers of the Davny district - they are of no interest to you now).
Calibrator can be obtained in two ways:
1)Meet with Otar Botkoveli (M9,1) and lead the conversation so as to make him allow Jensen to take the device (in exchange for a favor in the future)
2) Reach the casino undetected or kill the residing gangsters and steal the calibrator from the safe(M9,4).
Receiving the calibrator thanks to a conversation with Otar
This variant is the best way if you want to quickly gain the calibrator, and avoid any blood spilling. Choose the main entrance to the casino(M9,1) for a conversation with Otar Botkoveli to begin.
Attention - the conversation with Otar only commences if you have spoken to Vaclav Koller first (the main quest Getting in Top Shape Again). You have to have learned the fact that Otar has the calibrator. If you haven't been to Koller, you will have to steal the device.
The goal of the conversation with Otar is to be allowed to take the calibrator. To achieve this goal, Social Enhancer augmentation can be useful, as it allows for live analyzing of other people (including how they react to Jensen's various actions) and creating their psychological profiles. Nevertheless, using it is not mandatory. During the conversation, you need to choose simple answers (Beta), which is on the left in the dialogue menu. It will allow you to convince Otar that you want to obtain the calibrator for your own use, and he doesn't have to worry about the law enforcement. Otar will express his willingness to give the calibrator to Jensen, provided he will promise to do him a favor in the future. You can accept this deal (dialogue option on the right) or refuse and leave the casino. The conversation will also be a failure if you choose incorrect dialogue options, make Otar angry, or won't make your case. For completing the conversation, you can receive 1000 experience points at most.
Note - Otar's favor involves killing Louis Gallois, a vendor in Golem. Otar will contact Jensen sometime after you reach the Utulek complex (M15 map). The detailed information about this task can be found in the walkthrough of the main quest The Rucker Extraction.
The calibrator will be lying on the table
If you managed to convince Otar and agreed to his proposition, enter the casino, which is now an accessible zone. Go to the room on the floor (M9,4). The calibrator will be on the table. You'll receive 1850 experience points and a bonus if you hadn't been spotted.
Stealing the calibrator
Stealing the calibrator is an option if you don't want to make a deal with Otar, you failed the conversation, or you want to avoid this meeting completely. The aggressive variant involves attacking the gangsters, but because there is a large group of them in the casino, it is not a good idea. By far, it is better to steal the calibrator while staying undetected.
You can get to the casino by going through the corridor north of the main entrance (M9,2). There is a locked door there, but the lock has only first level security.
During the walk through the corridor, avoid the defensive turret located near one of the corners - try to sneak underneath it. In the further part of the walk, crouch and slide through the main room of the casino. You will see a second locked door, but it will also have a level one security lock. Ultimately, you'll reach a small room with a ladder. You can use it or find a ventilation shaft which leads straight to your destination.
Another method of infiltrating the casino is getting to the southern entrance (M9,3). The passage is blocked by a big chest. You can move it only if you have the augmentation which allows carrying heavy items. In the next area, you have to carefully sneak between two gangsters, and avoid being detected by the defense turret (use the camouflage if you have problems with staying undetected). Once you pass the hazards, you can open the door leading to the upper level of the casino, or use the ladder and reach the aforementioned entrance to the ventilation shaft.
The calibrator is stored in a room on the floor of the casino (M9,4), but there are at least 3 enemies nearby. A good idea would be to eliminate them, which will allow you to make the heist easily. In this case, attack the enemies once they have dispersed enough, and hide their bodies straight away. You can also line them up next to each other, and throw a gas grenade.
If you want to avoid eliminating other characters at any cost, try to lure them out of the room, and quickly perform all your actions there, before they return to their guard posts. You can also use the ventilation shaft, which will get you to the room with the calibrator.
The calibrator is in the safe, visible on the above screenshot. In order to open it, hack the terminal in the vicinity (only level 1 security), or enter the code - 4863. For a successful heist, you'll receive 1850 experience points and a bonus if you hadn't been spotted.
Regardless of the way of acquiring the calibrator, the main character will contact Vaclav Koller. You will have to wait until Koller takes care of another task.
