As a reminder, each of the vehicles in the game has its own blue energy bar, which is completely separate from the current health bar of the selected character. It is displayed in the lower left corner of the screen. The length of the energy bar varies by vehicle type. Some vehicles in the game are focused on agility and performance and therefore have few energy points, while others are slow moving tanks with longer energy bars.

Unfortunately, you cannot repair cars in Destruction AllStars - this restriction applies to both "regular" cars and the Hero Vehicles used by stars - Destruction AllStars: Repairing a car - is it possible? - FAQ - Destruction AllStars Guide

Unfortunately, you cannot repair cars in Destruction AllStars - this restriction applies to both "regular" cars and the Hero Vehicles used by stars. Here's how to deal with this issue:

  1. Constantly stay on the move to avoid becoming an easy target for your opponents. You should also avoid collisions with walls and indestructible obstacles (e.g. the sliding blocks pictured above).
  2. Keep an eye on the energy bar and eject from the car if it is close to being destroyed. Sometimes, when an opponent hits your car with significant force, not only will they destroy your ride, but your star will consequently be eliminated from the match (this is known as an Annihilation).
  3. If you choose to eject yourself, you'll have an easier time reaching the platforms with standard cars. This will allow you to resume fighting without wasting any time.
  4. Take good care of your Hero Car, because, once destroyed or abandoned, you will need to wait before you will be able to resummon it and you will be forced to use a standard vehicle in the meantime.
