The MIDA Multi-Tool is a scout rifle that occupies the slot of a kinetic weapon. It has no unusual features - it is simply the most refined rifle in its category. It has a greater range, power, and rate of fire, and also has greater recoil stability. Additional features include active radar when using a scope and smaller recoil bonus when opponents get hit (it can be useful during battles at the edges of the map, for example, on Titan).

MIDA Multi-Tool - how to acquire it?

Missions which have to be performed in order to get this weapon are located on Earth (EMS). You have to perform a series of missions called Enchantment!, to be able to move on to the challenges after which you will receive this Exotic weapon. After completing these tasks, you will receive a legendary weapon from Devrim: MIDA Mini-Tool. Remember that the chain quest is not over and it is just a reward for completing one stage. It is worth bearing in mind, however, that this received weapon has a bonus to the parameters of the Multi-Tool, so do not get rid of it!

Now head to The Tower and talk to the Banshee-44 gunsmith, who will order you a challenge to complete. Confirmation of participation in this challenge will appear in the inventory next to the slot of the kinetic weapon. By checking the item in the inventory, you can check your current progress of completing the challenge. To perform both conditions of the task, it is useful to target weak opponents, which you can kill with a single headshot and even from a great distance. There are two objectives to complete and they require you to use any type of scout rifle:

1. Kill 50 opponents with headshots;
2. Kill 25 opponents without reloading the weapon - that is, any subsequent enemy destroyed after killing the first one (without reloading) is added to the kill count multiplier in this field.

But this is not the end. Return to the Gunsmith for the next task, which consists in dismantling five scout rifles of the blue or purple class (uncommon or legendary weapons). If you don't have one, it's worth looking for treasures (Lost Sectors and secret chests, as well as chests from Cayde's Treasure maps - 6) to quickly get the items you need.

The third stage of the task (last one) is the challenge of killing 50 opponents with a machine gun, but in the air. For this challenge, you can also choose the weakest opponents and open spaces. Also, you can change the jump/flight type as your character's skill to stay in the air for as long as possible during the jump. After completing this last goal, return to Banshee-44 and you will receive the MIDA Multi-Tool.
