In this chapter we focus on equipment and Power that they represent. You can carry three types of weapons: kinetic, energy and heavy. Grenades are treated as an ability with a cooldown, not as an item. Besides that you can learn about clothes and armor which consist of five elements.
It is worth knowing that both engrams left by enemies and ammo - during multiplayer - can be seen only by you so you don't have to worry that other players on the server can steal your loot. The same goes for chests after completing events - its content can't be received by only one person but all of the players get their fair share (until a chest disappears after a short time so don't forget to use it).
Warning: if you forgot to take an engram with you, don't worry. When you go back on the Farm (social space) you will find an NPC called Postmaster. He has all items that you found in chests and from fallen enemies but you didn't physically pick them up.
You should also know that your excess equipment can be stored in Vaults - terminals in the Tower and on the Farm. It is especially useful when you have an old Exotic items that you can later infuse by evening their power level and use their characteristics.
