Hunter | Character classes Destiny 2 Guide

Hunters specialize in dealing quick damage and agile movements. They're distinguished with their ability of making two or even three jumps, as well as making quick dodges. Below you will find skill trees for both available Hunter subclasses.

Arcstrider

1. Grenades

Usage: L1/LB buttons.

Skip - explodes into smaller fragments that search for enemies.

Flux - deals additional damage if it sticks to an enemy.

Arcbolt - hits a group of enemies with a chain of lightning.

2. Class ability

Usage: circle x2/B x2.

Marksman's Dodge - a deceptive dodge that automatically reloads the equipped weapon.

Gambler's Dodge - a dodge roll, which, if performed near an enemy, replenishes melee abilities.

3. Jumps

Usage: X/A button.

High Jump - jump the second time whilst in the air to gain more altitude.

Strafe Jump - increased control over the direction of flight.

Triple Jump - improve your jump with a third jump.

4. Superability

Usage: simultaneously press R1+L1/LB+RB.

Arc Staff - create an electric staff and acrobatically deal with enemies.

5. Way of the Warrior

Deadly Reach - make a dodge to increase the range of your melee attacks. This will allow you to attack enemies that are farther away.

Lethal Current - after making a dodge, each attack with the Arc Staff deploys lightning that damage enemies.

Combination Blow - perform a melee kill to initiate health regeneration and increase melee damage for a period of time.

Combat Flow - melee kills replenish your dodge ability.

Gunslinger

1. Grenades

Usage: L1/LB buttons.

Incendiary - sets enemies on fire.

Swarm - an impact grenade that releases a swarm of drones that are searching enemies.

Tripmine - sticks to a surface and explodes if an enemy steps into the laser beam.

2. Class ability

Usage: circle x2/B x2.

Marksman's Dodge - a deceptive dodge that automatically reloads the equipped weapon.

Gambler's Dodge - a dodge roll, which, if performed near an enemy, replenishes melee abilities.

Golden Gun - summon a flaming gun that disintegrates enemies with Sunlight.

5. Way of the Outlaw

Explosive Knife - throw a knife that explodes shortly after impact.

Chain of Woe - precise kills increase the reload speed for you and nearby allies.

Deadshot - considerably improves Golden Gun's accuracy.

Six-Shooter - Golden Gun can be fired six times, but its duration becomes shorter.

6. Way of the Sharpshooter

Knife-Juggler - Throw a knife from a distance. Precision knife kills with this Melee Ability immediately recharge it.

Practice Makes Perfect - Enter a trance with each precision hit reducing the cooldown of your Superability.

Crowd-Pleaser - Enables precision damage with Golden Gun. Precision hits with Golden Gun generate Orbs of Light.

Line 'Em Up - Precision hits with Golden Gun increase its damage and extends its duration.

Nightstalker

1. Grenades

Press L1/LB

Vortex Grenade - Creates a vortex which deals damage over a short period of time.

Spike Grenade - A grenade that attaches to any surface (including your opponent) and emits a torrent of damaging Void Light.

Voidwall Grenade - A grenade that creates a horizontal wall of burning Void Light that hurts any oponent that touches it.

2. Class Ability

Press O/B two times

Marksman's Dodge - wykonaj unik, aby wymanewrowac przeciwników, nie tracac pewnej reki. Automatycznie przeladowuje bron. Dodge to perform an evasive maneuver with a steady hand. Dodging automatically reloads your weapon.

Gambler's Dodge - Dodge to perform a deft tumble, avoiding enemy attacks. Dodging near enemies fully recharges your Melee Ability.

3. Jumps

Press X/A.

High Jump - Jump a second time to reach greater heights

Strafe Jump - While airborne, Jump a second time with strong directional control.

Triple Jump - Sustain your air control with a second or a third jump.

4. Superability

Press R1+L1/LB+RB at once

Shadowshot - Tether Foes to a Void Anchor, slowing, weakening, and suppressing them for you and your allies. Uses your bow - a successful shot is needed (performed from a third person perspective)

5. Way of the Pathfinder

Vanish In Smoke - Throw a Smoke Bomb from a distance with this Melee Ability. The Smoke Bomb creates a smoke cloud that makes you and nearby allies invisible.

Lockdown - Grenade Effects last twice that long, allowing for strong horizontal control and increased damage potential.

Heart of the Pack - Killing tethered enemies creates Orbs of Light, and increases mobility, recovery, and resilience for you and nearby allies.

Moebius Quiver - Fire Shadowshot multiple Times, in rapid succession. Shadowshot deals massive damage against tethered opponents.

6. Way of the Trapper

Snare Bomb - Throw a Smoke Bomb from a distance. The Smoke Bomb sticks to surfaces and detonates when enemies are near, slowing and disorienting them.

Keen Scout - Sprint and Sneak faster and gain a tracker. Tethered enemies are marked for easy tracking.

Deadfall - The Void Anchors fired from Shadowshot become traps and wait for prey. Void Anchors have increased range and last longer.

Vanishing Step -Dodging makes you vanish from sight for a short time.
