Souls are the most important currency in the game. They can be spent on various items and weapons at the merchants, and on upgrading your character's statistics and level at the Maiden in Black. The more powerful the opponent, the greater the reward, i.e. the number of souls. Therefore, if you want to improve your character more, you need more souls.

To get them quickly, you need to kill enemies that drop a significant amount of souls, then reset the location by interacting with the archstone, return to the location with said opponents and kill them again. If you want to focus on soul farming, it's a good idea to obtain the Ring of Avarice, which increases the number of souls you earn. You can get it in the 3-2 region or you can buy it from a trader in stage 3-1. Additionally, use souls in the form of objects, such as the Unknown Warrior Soul. Upon consuming the item, you will obtain souls. Use them only when you need them to leveling up, because these items disappear after use.
