On this page of the guide to Demon's Souls Remake, you will learn how to go through chapter (2-3), i.e. the Stonefang Tunnel in the Smithing Grounds.

After teleporting into the Stonefang Tunnel, you will find yourself at the first Archstone, close to the stairs. Go upstairs.

At the top, you will find a merchant from whom you can buy the basic materials needed to upgrade your weapons and shields. But before you talk to him, turn left.

You will notice the first lizard, kill it, then go further. Destroy wooden objects and pick up the items.

At the merchant, there is also a room. Entering it, you will see several wooden steps. It is a shortcut that you will unlock a little later. It also leads to Blacksmith Ed, who will upgrade your weapons.

Head towards the building shown in the picture. However, be careful because the opponents at the top throw boulders dealing high damage. When you see that the boulders are falling, quickly run inside.

Inside, there is a road on the left that will take you further, but first turn right. There's a handle that you have to turn.. Then, at the exit, you will see the elevator started working.

Wait until the elevator is at the same level as you, then get on it. Both at the bottom and the top, you will find several items. First, head upstairs.

At the top, you will encounter the first opponent, Fat Official, who attacks mainly with fire magic. If you get too far away from him, he'll start shooting fireballs. But if you get close to him, he will use a burst of fire that has a very small range. Sometimes he'll use his weapon, too. The best time to attack is when he is scratching hid stomach. You can also approach him from behind and attack his back. When you defeat him, you will find two opponents at the top who threw boulder in your direction. Kill them and pick up the items, then go all the way down.

At the bottom, you will find an item that will allow you to regain your physical form. Pick up the item and head upstairs.

On the left side, behind the chest, are several opponents. It's worth killing them for souls and materials. These enemies are very slow, but they are resistant to damage. Sometimes, there are many of them, so it is good to deal with them from afar. Once you've done that, move on to the next room.

In the next room, you will encounter a group of creatures that you encounter in the room before. Do not get into a fight with many opponents at the same time, defeat them one by one. Pick up all the items.

Head to the center of the building on the right. You'll meet another Fat Official there, watch out for his fire attacks. After defeating him, enter the room in which he was, you will find several items to pick up.

Entering this room, on the right side, beware of a hidden enemy who will attack you the moment you pass through the passage.

Go up the stairs, but beware of enemies, because the corridor is very narrow. Go to the end of the corridor, pick up the healing item, then turn right. Go forward - there is a Pickaxe in the room there.

Then head upstairs, so you'll meet the third Official. However, be careful on the way.

As you can see in the picture, a wooden bridge made of planks leads to the Official. But when you step on it, you fall. The bridge will just collapse.

So that you do not have to go up again, stick to the left side of the bridge. This side of the bridge will not collapse, and you will be able to go to the other side. Kill the Official, then jump down.

On the lower floor, under the place where the Officiel was, you will find a lever. Pull it up. A cutscene will show you which way to go.

After watching the cutscene, go to the very top, head towards the fog. Go through it, you don't have to worry about a boss fight.

Once you get through the fog, you'll be on the other side of the map. You will also encounter new enemies, such as fire lizards, which are usually on the walls of buildings. It is worth using magic, daggers, or a bow to make them to fall to the ground. If you don't have any of these, get close to them, and they'll fall down. Individual lizards are easy to defeat, but they are stronger in a group.

Now head up the stairs towards the water wheel. Along the way, you will find a healing item, pick it up and go further.

Going forward, on the right side you will see a huge pot. There are several lizards on the walls. It is worth knocking them out one by one. Near one of the lizards, you will see an item to pick up - it will be an elixir that renews stamina.

On the right side of the pot, there are two paths. Stairs leads to to several items, however, the place is covered with lava. Do not think about going in for these items, even if you have a high resistance to fire. You'll be dead the second you step on the lava. First, go up stairs.

On the stairs, you will encounter more opponents. Defeat them, then instead of passing through the fog, destroy wooden objects. On the other side, there is a shortcut from the beginning of the location, which will lead you to Blacksmith Ed. Watch out for enemies, though.

Pick up the item on the left when you exit the tunnel. Then head the other way to the elevator.

To unlock the shortcut, turn the handle so that the elevator starts working again. You can go down to meet the Blacksmith.

Ed will repair your equipment and upgrade your weapons. Later, he will also allow you to create weapons from the souls of bosses if only you decide to give him one of the souls. Explore the lower level, collect all the items, and return to the top and head towards the fog.

Climb the stairs, but beware of the enemies wielding a pickaxe in a narrow corridor. Defeat him and go to the next room, where you will encounter more enemies of the same type.

Leaving the room, to the left of the exit is a Crystal Lizard. You need to kill it very quickly if you want to get materials because there is a group of opponents.

Not only that there are a lot of them, but they will also throw stones at you, which cause great damage. The best method would be to lure individual enemies by throwing a dagger at them, shooting them with a bow, or using magic. There's no point fighting them in a group. When you have knocked out the majority, go to the opponent throwing stones and kill him to make it easier for you to fight with the next enemies.

After defeating the opponents, go forward. Behind the wooden chest is an item to pick up. It's a steel shield. Then go right up the stairs.

On the wall, you will see a lot of Fire Lizards. Defeat them with a few quick attacks, preferably go around the entire tower. However, beware of a few wolves that may appear and attack you.

Then, going around the tower, you should find the stairs leading down. Go down. Watch out for the wolves, though.

Then go down the stairs again. In the meantime, gather some healing items.

At the very bottom, you will encounter more enemies with pickaxes. Beat them, then go to the next handle and turn it. When you do this, the lava will disappear due to the water. After this, go back where you fought with a large group of opponents throwing stones at you.

At the exit, go down the stairs. There you will see wooden boards that lead to the place from the picture. Pick up two souls and a stick. Run through the boards, because they will collapse after a short while. When you do it, jump down to the bottom, where you will find yourself at the beginning of the location where the water wheel was.

Go to the location with lava.Lava disappeared, so you can get previously unavailable items. Two of them are located at the stairs, while the third is on the left side, behind bars. It is a Ring of Poison Resistance. When you have collected all the items, go to the top of the stairs.

You will see many barrels, but on the other side, there will be another Fat Official.

Let him fire a few fireballs to destroy the barrels. When the fireball hits the barrel, it will cause a powerful explosion. When you see that most of the barrels have been destroyed, fight the Official.

When you defeat him, go through the fog. Destroy the objects on the right to pick up the stone that will restore your body form. When you do it, keep walking forward.

As you go on, watch out for the enemy upstairs because he will throw a boulder on the ground. When he does, he'll jump down. Defeat him and move on.

At the handle, there is the material needed to upgrade the weapon. Pick it up, then step onto the elevator and interact with it to slide down.

St the bottom, on the left side there is a dark corridor. Go right there to pick up the item.
