The character wizard is available before you start the gameplay proper in Demon's Souls Remake. At the very beginning, you will be able to name your character. You can also select the class you want to play. You can read more about this on the separate page dedicated to character classes.

Then you can choose one of the initial gifts, such as items that restore health, souls, rings etc. The last thing to do is determine the appearance and gender (which has absolutely no effect on any subsequent events in the game). You can change your character's hairstyle, posture, skin color, face shape, eyebrows, eyes, nose, jaw etc. When you select one of the options, the corresponding sliders will be displayed, which will help you to determine even more precisely what a particular part of the body should look like. If you do not want to create your own characters, you can use templates for ready-made characters.
