From this page of the guide to Deep Rock Galactic you will learn how to successfully go through the evacuation - the ending of the Escort Duty mission.
After capturing the core of the Ommoran Hearthstone, players can initiate the evacuation process by pressing the red button on the M. U. L. E. robot. Importantly, enemies will keep attacking you all the time during the evacuation.
At this point players will have exactly 5 minutes to reach the evacuation point, enter the pod and escape.
Since the Drilldozer will drill a large tunnel, usually using it is enough to get to the escape pod.
