The following chapter includes information on The Promenade of the Condemned. You will learn more about the very location, creatures that you will come across, other locations that you can visit and what requirements you need to fulfil to do that.
The Promenade of the Condemned is full of smaller and larger fortifications. You will also come across various spike traps. You can get to this location from your starting position - The Prisoners' Cells, and since it is one of the secondary locations, it's one of the optional ways to reach the third row of locations. You will find the entire list at the end of the chapter.
Here you will find an entrance to a chamber occupied by an elite archer - you need to defeat him in order to obtain Vine Rune. The special opponent will appear, until you defeat him for the first time. In The Promenade of the Condemned, there is a store, a chamber with a chest and teleports that will let you travel much faster.
There is also a chamber that you can access, only if you stand at its entrance according to a time limit - under 3.5 minutes. Once you run out of time, the door will shut for good and you won't be able to reveal the hidden treasure.
Enemies and other hazards
You will often come across areas covered in spikes that will reduce your health every time you touch them. Another type of hazards are balls covered in spikes, on chains.
The Promenade of the Condemned is a rather easy location, as you will come across the same opponents as in The Prisoners' Cells. However, certain creatures were added to the list. Finally, it's highly possible that you will come across an elite enemy.
Once the creature spots you, it will lean towards you and launch a charge attack. If you are close enough, strike the creature. You may also jump behind it to avoid the charge or roll when the monster is performing the attack.
Similar to a Zombie, the Grenadier will lean and throw a grenade that will explode moments after it touches the floor. Wait for the grenade to land, and jump out of its radius. When doing that try to get as close to the enemy as possible - this will immobilize him and prevent from throwing any more grenades.
A wooden doll that makes all nearby enemies immune to physical damage. You will have to use the power of elements to destroy it, or drag them away from the Defender. It's best to destroy the doll as soon as possible.
Deals only medium damage in direct combat. The creature attacks quickly, and once it notices you for the first time, it will try to stick to you by constantly teleporting itself near your position. It's best to kill it as soon as possible and don't let more than 1-2 Phazers spot you at the same time.
You will trigger the Bat once you get within its range. It ignores all walls and floors. It will take some time to charge at you and a red beam will determine the direction of the strike. The Bat will die from a single hit, so dodge the charging attack or strike before it performs the attack.
The following list consists of locations that you can access from The Promenade of the Condemned.
